Hi Asivad Anac and Seniors

Can I use the credit card of my friend/relative to pay for PR and processing fees as I don't have one. Or should i use my family member as unpaid representative on my application and use their credit card to pay the fees?

Kindly guide me to get an answer on this at your earliest.

Thank you so much for your help.

I don't see it will be a problem to use your relatives credit card. Just mention it in your Letter of Explanation. Take letter of Authorisation from your relative and include with your LOE.

The best will be to apply for a credit card and pay with your own card.

Just mention the BA since that is the only thing you can evaluate.

Sunny, I made the same mistake of waiting to find out if the PG Diploma will get successfully evaluated or not. I would suggest you invest the money and get it evaluated from WES.

I was pleasantly surprised to see mine was considered for 2 or more degrees and thus the additional points.

You can use anyone's card as long as it is Visa/MasterCard or Amex.

Hi, I checked on WES website and found that Mumbai University is autonomous. Does that mean my Valia college which is affiliated to Mumbai university is also autonomous? Please help with my query.

Hi Asivad,

I filed my app in the month of Feb.

I have a query regarding Proof of Fund.I have shown Fixed deposits of 2 banks accounts as a POF.

Out of these 2 one of the bank is winding up operations from my home country (India).

They have sent out a letter to us on making alternate arrangments on amount that are with the bank before 30 Aug.

Shall I transfer whole ammount into 1 bank and update CIC for this?

Hello there,

InshAllah I am going to marry in one and a half month, regarding my EE profile and OINP application, I have following questions;

After marriage should I immediately update my EE profile? I mean in day or two? (because i am showing Spouse’s qualification and her ECA and IELTS are yet to done)
Do I need Spouse’s IELTS & ECA at the time when I update my EE profile? (If I do not immediately get just after marriage, then what to do?)
What documents OINP require to incorporate Spouse in file under process?

Thanks & Regards,
Saad

Yes, you can transfer the amount to one bank account. You can update OINP via IRCC Web Form (https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx) along with proof of transfer and the reason for transfer (LOE), attach the letter you received from the bank that is winding up operations. In the IRCC Web From, you can select the type as 'Express Entry'.

Post marriage, you need to do the following.

1. Update your Express Entry profile once you have the Marriage Certificate (you need to mention your spouse's name and also confirm whether she would be accompanying you to Canada or not)
2. Update the amount of funds as per LICO, it should not be less than CAD 15,143 (please do not miss this step, otherwise, it will make your profile ineligible)
2. You must complete the Change of Personal Information Form. This form can be downloaded from the OINP website. Completed forms should be submitted to OINP by mail, fax or email attachment. http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPFORMS.html
3. Along with the Change of Personal Information Form, you need to send the following
- Updated POF (CAD 15,143 or more)
- Copy of Marriage Certificate
- Copy of spouse's passport (personal pages)
4. With regard to ECA and IELTS for spouse, it is optional. If you want to claim points, you can get it done and update it later as and when it is ready (before ITA).
