Hi Asivad,

THis is what the following link reads on POF cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

You do not have to show that you have these funds if:
•you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
•you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.

So I am currently not working in Canada and as a cook yet don't have a red seal which authorizes me to work in Canada that is what I understand. Correct me if I am wrong or does authorize mean that I have an approved LMIA

If the system allotted you 600 extra points, you don't have to show POF.

Hi,

I have been searching for a definitive answer for this question for a while,

Can you bridge a IEC working holiday visa?

Any comments would be really appreciated.

Thank you,
Sean

Hi Asivad,

My wife, who is the principal applicant, has letters from 3 of her previous employers, totaling 6 years of experience.

She made a draft letter on her own and sent it to 2 of those employers with exact same job duties, in the same order. This is because her duties did not change for 4 years. They have been stamped, signed & endorsed by both employers. Both on different letter heads. For the third employer, her job duties are a bit different. Now she is worried that since the duties of 2 companies are exact similar, it might raise suspicion.

Is that a correct assumption or would it not make any difference?

All experience is Foreign, matching the NOC.

Regards
Vaibhav

Good day all. My CRS was 447 when I used the calculator tool. Please what are my chances of getting ITA? i have 2 years working experience and my average IELTS score is 7.5

I have B.Pharm and Pharm.D, will they be scored separately so that my points can go up?

What PNP can I apply for without a job offer and what else can i do to boost my points?

Kindly answer. Thanks

Hi Asivad!

My PGWP is set to expire on 5th June, so I applied for a BOWP online on 10th May... and got PPR on 12th May!!
I sent my passport and photos to Ottawa today.
Can I cancel my BOWP application and ask for a refund of the app fee?
Would I need to have a BOWP until I receive my PR card, or would I technically be a PR as soon as I get the stamp after landing?

Thanks!

I have a query on my friend's behalf.

She has recently renewed her passport after ontario nomination but haven't received ITA yet.
Can she add her new passport details to her EE profile directly or does she need to send CSE/ email Ottawa?
Hope making changes to her profile won't make it ineligible. Any suggestions please.

CSE is the best bet.

You can cancel your application for BOWP. Yes you will be a PR as soon as you land.

She can update her passport information in the profile. Just ensure to check the whole profile to see that nothing is amiss and also ensure that the amount of funds is also updated as per latest LICO. The other day I was updating my profile and noticed that my entire work history was missing, so I had to check all sections to see everything is fine before transmitting the changes.

May be you can also see what others have to say.

Thanks Stanlee. I have gone through all related topics. Post ITA CSE is the only option as the profile is locked. But pre ITA it is possible to make changes though it is a little risky. My only concern is about her medicals, can she use her new pp even though her profile may show the old pp no.

As far as I know, the EE profile can be updated till you get ITA. Post ITA it gets locked. Currently, does it show the option 'Update Form' after you click 'View Submitted Application'? If yes, then you can update the profile. It is important that the latest passport information is updated in the EE profile.

Did you make changes to your profile after nomination, Stanlee?

No, I made changes to my profile couple of days before nomination as I had to update my new IELTS scores (as old one was about to expire in a month). I got my nomination only today. So, I need to check whether the 'Update Form' would be active after 600 points has been added.

My friend too accepted her nomination today.
