Hi Asivad,

I'm trying to apply for my brother in EE. I'm getting job offer from employer with LIMIA so that I can apply for him in EE category to get into fast PR process. But I have some doubts which I need answer for.

1. Job offer from Canadian employer as a Food Supervisor or Cook? it's a fast food chain. - Cooks fall under Federal Skilled Trades (FST). For FST requirements, refer to this page http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/trades/apply-who.asp.

The job offer has to be LMIA approved.

2. Brother is not in Canada and never had Canadian experience so will that work? - That will not be a problem.

3. His IELTS score is only 5.5 will that work? - For FST, the language requirement is Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 for speaking and listening, and Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 for reading and writing. More than the overall score, individual scores matters.

4. Does he have to show money to come to Canada? he is single and no dependent. - He does not have to show funds ie he is able to seure an LMIA backed job offer from a Canadian employer.

Sorry really dumb questions but I'm new to this EE thing and don't know much about it.

Thank You!

Hello Asivad,
I am an Inland FSW and a JAN AOR. I uploaded my payslips in the proof of funds and also showed 10000$ in my Indian account and 6000$ in my Canadian account. I recently uploaded my T4 statement through CSE. Due to a personal emergency i had to use some of the funds that were present in my Indian account. Will this be a problem? Please help. Thanks in advance.

+1 and thank you!

As your PPR came through just last week, you can probably wait for a couple of weeks to see if there is any response from IRCC. If you don't hear from them by then, submit your passports at VFS.

What if your age turn from 29 to 30 after you got the AOR? Will i lose 5 points and ended up rejection or age will be locked after AOR and i dont need to worry about that?

Thank You!!

Thank you for the info. Stanlee

So he can also apply under FST? and he won't have to worry about his IELTS score then right? I mean he has more than CLP 5 and CLP 4 for these categories.

Is there any catch for FST as to anyone can apply or not? sorry I'm really dumb in this.

So what's the really difference between FSW and FST?

Hi
Both me and my fiance have got COPR as individual applicants since our applications were completely independent and we did not get any additional points for spouse also.
However, we are now planning to get married right before we leave for Canada. Our current passports naturally do not have "Spouse Name" added.

Can anybody please let us know whether it would be misinterpretation of info. since we would land there married without this being reflected in our passports??

Do we need to get the COPR again on new changed passports?? Is addition of spouse a mandatory requirement??

Please help!!!!!!!!! :o :o :o

Thanks a bunch....

Hello Asivad,

I need your help please. There's no hope for OINP so thinking of other ways.

I am married and approaching 2 years of work experience under CEC. Do you think I can say my spouse is not accompanying me to get 469 points? Can application be refused because of that?

Thanks a lot !

I greet you all, thanks for your useful advice always... You are life savers. Yesterday morning, I raised a CSE in respect of my newly born baby. I attached his international passport, birth certificate and passport photograph. This morning I got a mail from CIC to check MYCIC. To my surprise I saw a letter requesting for our passport, form imm5669 and 5406 to be submitted in Accra VO within the next 15 days by courier.
My major concern is that the letter stated that :
Dear XXXX XXXXX
YOUR IMMIGRANT VISA(S) APPEAR(S) READY TO BE ISSUED , IF THERE HAS BEEN NO CHANGE IN YOUR FAMILY CONFIGURATION . IF THERE HAVE BEEN ANY CHANGES, PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE BEFORE PROCEEDING.
Please I need your advice on what to do, because I just raised a CSE yesterday , though I got an acknowledgment mail few minutes later.
I don't know what next to do .I HAVE LESS THAN 15 DAYS TO GO . Thank you.

Hi,

I had a few questions.

1. How much time does it take for the PR after the EAOR ? Is there an average timeline ? We got an EAOR towards the end of Jan 16.
2. Are there any websites where one can look for jobs in Canada ?
3. Can the PA change jobs in between the EAOR and the PR ?
4. Can the PA relocate to another city ?
5. Once the PR has been received, within how much time does the PA have to enter the country ?

regards,

Hi Asivad,

I have submitted the reference letter (dated 16 sep 2014) from my current employer in my SINP PNP application on 17 Dec 2015 and got nominated on 2nd Feb 2016.

I have submitted the same Ref. letter (dated 16 sep 2014) in my post ITA application after getting ITA on 10 Feb 2016 and my AOR is 24 Feb 2016. Some people are saying that ref. letter is too old and there is big diff in date when letter issued by company and ITA date so you should have gone for fresh reference letter. Request you to please suggest whether there can be any problem for me......

Fingers crossed and looking for help, please suggest ??? ???

You have absolutely nothing to worry about, people saying that are only speculating. Reference letter I submitted was dated November 2014, my application was approved & closed in less than 2 months with no additional documents requested.

First of all Congrats for your PPR :). You cleared my doubt.

BTW ur AOR is in Mar 2016 and you get the PPR in Apr 2016.... very fast ........... oh Accra VO :) :) :)

I am still waiting :( :( :(

Hi Asivad,

Thank you very much for all your help so far; very much appreciated. I have a new query; I received a passport request yesterday (with a 30 day deadline). My wife is pregnant and is expected to give birth in about 35 days in the US.

The way i see it; we have got 2 options:

1. We request the visa processing office to extend the deadline until after the birth of our baby? This would enable us add the baby to my application etc. I am just not sure if this reason would be acceptable and the implication on timelines etc.

2. We send our passports to the office and get our COPR/Visas; once the baby is born we inform IRCC and submit whatever they ask for.

What would you advise? Is there another alternative course of action you would suggest?
