Hi,

I applied on 3rd December 2015 and at that time proof of funds requirements were CAD 14853 for two people, but now they increased that amount, although the increment is minor but I have not extra money in my account which can cover or meat this increment. My background check is in process, does this problem affect my application or does old proof of funds requirement will apply in my case?
how does CIC verify our balance from bank? because as per my knowledge Banks do not share accounts information other than account holder.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Doesn't affect your application. Rules aren't applied retrospectively. IRCC will check your documents submitted along with the application and ask you for additional documents if and when required.

Hi Asivad,

I have a problem with filling OINP HCPS form. I have to put some date even for my current job. I have tried PDF tools (by putting white strips) but the print comes with date. Please help!

print the pages individually and fill what you can't by hand

But how can i print without going to "Summary Pages" and the next does not work without date. Could you please elaborate?

Dear Asivad,

please have a look at my situation. I would appreciate your precious opinion on the matter.

Just because 1 person is delayed doesn't make EE slower than sponsorship, on average. EE is decidedly faster so I would recommend you get married before you land so that you can then add your spouse to this application itself and get your PRs together. It might delay you plans by a few months more but you'll be together till then. Depends on your priorities.

All the best!

I received an email stating that my job bank will be deactivated soon. What am I supposed to do?! I created my EE in September. Is this for the profile created in September or for an old EE profile that I had already withdrawn?

never mind the form buttons, just go to file>print>current page

If you've already submitted your post ITA application, ignore.

Congratulations!

As you are in North America, you can send your passport to Ottawa without needing to make an LVO request. The photographs aren't a problem - get it done at the nearest Walmart - the new specs want the photos to be sized at 50*70. Even if the photos aren't perfect, you'll still get your passport stamped and COPR issued by CPC Ottawa.

Thanks for the photo suggestion Asivad,
I just looked at the last page of the passport , they have words saying " Not to send the passport out of country in post" , but I see few ppl sending them to Canada from usa .. not sure if it is a great offence or something ....

I gave my ielts general exam in january 2016 and scored clb9 in all language abilities. The candidate id mentioned on my IELTS report card is my passport number.

However, my passport will expire in April 2016. Therefore, I have applied for my passport renewal. I will get my renewed/new passport in 15 days but my passport id number will be changed.

What should I do ? Since i will submit my EE profile and once i got the ita, my ielts report card will show my candidate id (previous passport number).

Looking forward to a suitable advice.

Nothing to worry about AFAIK; your new passport will have the old passport number mentioned in it. You may add a line about it in your LoE to explain things better and avoid confusion.

Good luck.

Hello Asivad,

Hope you are doing well!

I had a question that I hope you can help me with. I received an ITA on January 27 and submitted my e-application on the 17th of february 2016. One thing that struck me (compared to two other colleagues who submitted at the same time) is that I was the only one who was asked to submit educational transcripts as a separate document in the checklist.

One thing to note is that unlike the others, in my educational details, I mentioned that I have a Canadian Masters degree along with a bachelor's degree from India and 12th grade equivalent school degree from India. However, I had clearly selected "No" when they asked me if I had an "ECA" for the bachelor's and 12th equivalent degree.

In my application,
Under the section dealing with degrees, I uploaded my Master's degree, Bachelor's degree and 12th grade equivalent degree as a single pdf
Under the section dealing with transcripts, I uploaded my Master's, Bachelor's and 12th grade equivalent transcripts in a single pdf file

I also attached an LOE mentioning that although I had selected "No" under ECA for my bachelor's and 12th grade equivalent degree, I have attached it for your review for the sake of truthfulness and completeness.

Did I do something wrong here? Any ideas as to why it asked me to upload transcripts separately apart from the degree certificates?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for all the help!
