I had a question that I hope you can help me with. I received an ITA on January 27 and submitted my e-application on the 17th of february 2016. One thing that struck me (compared to two other colleagues who submitted at the same time) is that I was the only one who was asked to submit educational transcripts as a separate document in the checklist.

One thing to note is that unlike the others, in my educational details, I mentioned that I have a Canadian Masters degree along with a bachelor's degree from India and 12th grade equivalent school degree from India. However, I had clearly selected "No" when they asked me if I had an "ECA" for the bachelor's and 12th equivalent degree.

In my application,
Under the section dealing with degrees, I uploaded my Master's degree, Bachelor's degree and 12th grade equivalent degree as a single pdf
Under the section dealing with transcripts, I uploaded my Master's, Bachelor's and 12th grade equivalent transcripts in a single pdf file

I also attached an LOE mentioning that although I had selected "No" under ECA for my bachelor's and 12th grade equivalent degree, I have attached it for your review for the sake of truthfulness and completeness.

Did I do something wrong here? Any ideas as to why it asked me to upload transcripts separately apart from the degree certificates?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure, but I think your transcripts were required because you included your 12 grade degree. Most of peiple do not included high school on application. Hiwever, I believe it will not make any difference.

Thanks for the photo suggestion Asivad,
I just looked at the last page of the passport , they have words saying " Not to send the passport out of country in post" , but I see few ppl sending them to Canada from usa .. not sure if it is a great offence or something ....

Technically wrong to send your passport to Canada but it works fine in NA.

I have one query
As I have highlighted tht I have two account one savings and one salary account . I have been using saving account for cic fund purpose .

Every month I transfer 15-20 k in saving account from my salary account and this transaction is regularly every month .

Do I need to write loe for tht and explain this scenario as CIC may ask from where i m getting these 15-20k every month ?

Please help

5,6 and 7 aren't needed. Rest should suffice.

I thought CSE is a general link and then you select country / VO office in the drop down ..

I am looking for CSE to USA and Ottawa , can I use above link?

Yes. Correct link for EE. Choose 'Express Entry' in the drop-down menu.

Assuming you're sending a CSE to confirm you can send your passport across international borders to Ottawa, remember that IRCC doesn't care one way or the other. The Indian authorities do. Which is why this is technically wrong but practically works all the time.

Thanks for your help in past. I have received ppr and sent my passport to ottawa. Aor oct 7.

Just wanted to ask if there are any complications as i am currently out status in canada. I had applied for restoration of status as worker within three months time given.

I will be going for landing and was confused what documents should i take with me for landing and if thr is any issue.

Thanks ... I got scared because on the last page of my passport it was written not to send by post out of any country . Thatsy just want to confirm once ...

Yes asivad . this is 15000 Indian rupee equivalent to 307 CAD approx.
