Hey Asivad,

This might be a silly question..however can u plz help me understand how we can know to which VO our application was submitted?
I dont see it anywhr in the mails or on my application. ???

Also what is ur timeline..I am jus curious to know ;D

Thanks in advance :)

Almost all EE applications are processed centrally at CPC Ottawa with intervention and support from LVOs if and when required. Your LVO would be the one in (or closest to) your current country of residence but that doesn't matter much under the EE scheme of things.

Hey Asivad,

just have a small query for you. My file has been in process for more than two months. If I order GCMS notes, will it have a negative impact on my file ? Thanks

Ordering GCMS notes has no impact on application processing.

All the best!

Hello Asivad,

I have been working in Quebec with a closed work permit as a temporary worker. Recently I received a PT from Ontario but I have no ties with Ontario and short of settle fund by 1500 $.

Is there any possibility of getting the nomination approved from Ontario. My CRS score is 444.

Please suggest.

This is certainly possible. Applicants who have never even visited Canada have received PN for Ontario. You'll have to send in a completed application with specific focus to the section 'Ties to Ontario' and settlement plan in order to convince the officer that you have definite intentions of relocating from Quebec to Ontario in the near future.

All the best!

Hello asivad anac,

My employer got a random verification of compliance about previously issued LMIA set out in section 209.3 of the IRPR yesterday. That letter has my name and old lmia number on it as well. My CEC application is in process now with cic.

Is this old lmia compliance review by SC is related with my current processing application with cic???

Hard to say for sure without knowing everything about the case. Probably it is a regular audit of your employer that has nothing to do with your current application and hopefully that is the case given that you have applied under CEC class for this application without the LMIA points.

In that case, this is almost certainly triggered by your application. Hope all the documentation is in order and your employer is able to provide whatever is required of them. Nothing much you can do about this for now except waiting it out. Hope it works out well for you.

All the best!
