I'm at 451 and soon expecting an ITA... Happy and excited and sure owe a bit of it to you!!!

pagarwal - your mailbox is full so I'm replying here.

You have 45 days to respond to the PT. Recommend that you collect all documents required for OOPNP and keep the file ready because there will be near-complete overlap with your post ITA documents as well.

At 451, you might get an ITA within the next 30 days. If you don't get an ITA, send out the OOPNP application packet along with the 1500 CAD fee. If you get an ITA after you've sent out the application, you will forgo that 1500 fee. You will have to decide if 1500 CAD is a fair gamble.

It goes without saying that you don't need the PT if you receive a 'regular' ITA at any point in time.

My degree is through Distance mode , but still we need to attend classes 32 hrs a month ( alternate sat and sun classes) . So what should I select in EE profile ? Full time or Part time ? I have choosen part time , is that correct ?

2)There is a field called Is this u r current study ? What should I put there . if I put Yes , it doesnot ask me the end period of my education. But my education is from 2009 to 2011 . So shall I select NO , so that it gives me option to provide End period of my study


Also how long it will take time to get my score updated?

Yes.

Select No.

Typically takes from a few hours to a day.

Secondly i have worked with the same manager who is prepared to provide me with a reference letter, how do you think he should write it? Does he provide two separate letters for the different years with the roles?

Please your input will be greatly appreciated.

I decided to remove myself from my families EE profile to ensure they get an ITA, I will go to Canada on a visitors visa and my wife will sponsor me later.

So I updated the profile last night but our CRS score hasn't been increased yet, do u know how long it takes to update?

This is fine.

Recommend getting 2 letters, one for each stint. It will be easier to explain the stints that way.

Question reg Spouse education .. My wife has not completed her bachelors degree . She just attended it for a year . So now she doesnot have any college degree . What should I choose for her education .. ? "None or less than secondary " ???

Have you got her ECA done? If not, choose None. If yes, choose the equivalency based on the ECA.

ECAS is activated only when your application is loaded onto GCMS so wait for a few days/weeks if you're unable to access.

You will need your EE reference number to login, choose Application number in the drop down menu.

If I choose YES , it is asking me to enter her school details . But there is also a question at the end which tell what is the highest level of education ... Should I choose "NONE OR LESS THAN SECONDARY "? or Secondary diploma (high school graduation)?

And for the question whether she have Canadian degree evaluation ---- Select NO

So in this case I have no ECA , correct . So no spouse points . Will WES evaluate High school ?

Do you need those points? If yes, you need an ECA. If no, you can safely answer No and not be prompted for documents. CIC doesn't care for validation of any foreign education credential that your spouse might (or might not) have when you are not claiming points for that credential.

Hi Asivad,

I created a new EE profile, withdrew my old EE profile and deactivated my old job bank, but with my new profile created and linked to a new job bank my profile status is still shown pending , is there anything I can do to remedy this and if there was a draw now and my CRS meets the cut off will i get an ITA even with my status is as shown below? I have been able to get our score to 462 and I am hoping we can get in the next draw.

Secondly with POF, two months ago we decided we will have a better chance if my wife became the main applicant so I transferred about $12000 into my wives account to meet the required level as she had about $20000 in her account at the time. My question is do I need to write a letter of explanation for the $12000 I transferred to her because it hasn't been in her account for 6 six months and will I need to provide my bank statement to prove the money came from my account?
