You will have to claim the NOC which matches with the major portion of your responsibilities. In this case, it would be 0731.

That is fine provided it covers the entire tenure so that you can claim the same NOC over the entire experience.

Ref to my previous post, can job experience in a junior level claimed against middle management noc 0731? If not, I guess I can't claim first 4 years of experience in that noc even though I was performing same tasks? Am I right?

If you were not in a supervisory capacity, it will be virtually impossible to justify a NOC 0.

Right now I stand at 400 crs as per CIC tool. Has OOPNP quota filled for this year? When will they start again? I think the only possible way to get an ITA is OOPNP with that many points and my aunt is living there.

It appears the OOPNP is done for the year. They aren't sending out a lot of PTs anymore, hardly any reports on the forum for almost 1 month.

And one more thing. If you don't mind, can you please calculate my CRS based on below. I calculated it using several tools but just want to make sure that I have 400 before I proceed.

I'm 33, married with a 2 year old kid, did Bachelor of Commerce (3 years), with ECA, 9+ years foreign experience in noc 0731, no Canadian experience, no job offer, no PNP. IELTS L9, R8.5, W7.5 and S7. Wife has done Bcom (3 years), with ECA. No IELTS. No job experience.

The best calculators is the one available on the CIC site. If you've got this score from there, it is perfectly fine. Recommend you ask your wife to take up IELTS, you can add up to 20 points based on her score.

Guess I will have to wait till next year for OOPNP and I don't think any other province is accepting NOC 0731 candidates for now.

Meanwhile, will I get any additional point if I've diploma in freight forwarding from FIATA? If yes, how should I do ECA for it?

There has hardly been a trend so far to estimate this with any kind of certainty. Try doing what esantos suggested on another thread.

I need you help again as per usual, below is the job duties I plan on putting on my experience letter. If you don't mind can you check for me if it matches NOC 1221.

• Review and analyze project plan from time to time to ensure milestone are being met
• Evaluate project procedures and make changes where necessary

• Manage office equipment decommissioning
• Help establish operating budget and ensure project keeps within allocated budget
• Assisting with data collection and management
• Preparing weekly and monthly financial reports

NOC 1221 Duties

Administrative officers perform some or all of the following duties:
• Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
• Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
• Carry out administrative activities associated with admissions to post-secondary educational institutions
• Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
• Co-ordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
• Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes
• Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
• May supervise records management technicians and related staff.

This appears fine. Recommend bunching together similar responsibilities to more closely coincide with the main duties, where possible. That makes it easier for the officer to check your job roles against the chosen NOC.

Hi Asivad,

Few questions

1)While filling EE , I entered details of myself and my spouse . But it didn't ask me details about my kid . I did say 3 ppl while checking the eligibility in "come to Canada tool" . How can I add my kid ??

2)My complete name is Rajesh ABC DEF where Rajesh is my first name and ABC DEF (both the words ) are my last name . In my WES ECA , they mentioned it as S(ABC),Rajesh . They should have done it as S(ABC DEF),Rajesh
I did contact them to get it changed . In case if WES didn't do any change , will this become a huge issue with CIC during PR ? However the cover letter which is sent along with the WES report all have my name correctly . My DOB is correct in the certificate .

That should be possible to do in the family information section. Can't recall the exact screen though.

ECA will carry the same name as your educational credentials. If your documents carry your name as Rajesh ABS DEF, that's how it should appear on ECA. If it doesn't, ask them to rectify it. If it doesn't appear like that, get an affidavit made that mentions both variants of your names and attach it with an LOE during post ITA submission.

Dear Asivad,

Seek your guidance with few questions that have really been making me tense. I made profile after 13th draw happened and now waiting for next draw with good hopes on score of 473. But when I look at list of documents required, I am worried that :

1. Reference or employment letter: I am Primary applicant and work in same company since last 7 years. My company does not provide any letter we ask from them for PR purpose .. however we got a letter from company automatically that mentioned my position salary structure etc. But it does not mention list of duties.. neither will company give that despite requesting them. How do I manage this situation?

2. Employment letter from spouse who is secondary applicant: My husband has changed 4 jobs in last 7 years and he can arrange this reference letter from his present company but in previous companies all mangers etc. Have changed. But he has offer letter appointment letter and relieving letter from those companies. Will it help?

3. Proof of funds: I have cash in my bank accounts exactly to the amount I need to show for lowest income cut off. But I have home loan outstanding also .. for example the property is evaluated at 65 lakhs as on fate but loan amount outstanding is 30 Lakhs. Does that impact my profile negatively. How do I manage that.

Please help. Thanks.

You will need to get the reference letter showcasing the roles & responsibilities. There is a workaround which involves ghost-writing this letter on your own (including everything CIC wants in there), getting it signed by ex-colleagues/supervisors, notarizing it and uploading that with other supporting evidence including job offer letter, pay stubs, tax assessment forms etc along with an LOE that highlights your unsuccessful efforts at procuring the letter from your ex-employer(s) and politely requesting the officer to accept this letter and process your case on its merits.

2. Spouse's work experience will fetch you points only if they acquired it inside Canada. You don't need to declare non-Canadian work experience for your spouse and you won't be asked to prove that experience as well.

CIC doesn't allow you to add property as an asset to your POF so it will be illogical to just add the liability. When you check with your bank for a certificate, ask them to avoid mentioning the home loan part.
