Hello Asivad,
Thanks for your sharing your expertise. Could you please help me to answer a few questions about my case?
I’m on a student visa in Alberta. I just completed a course and I’m doing my practicum. In total, the course lasts 8 months.
1. As soon as I finish my practicum, I will request my work permit by paper, while I wait for my work permit to arrive, I’m going to start working. I'm submitting my paper because CIC takes longer to process, which will give me additional time working under implied status. Is this possible? Would this experience count towards Express Entry?
2. I already have 4 months of Canadian experience in a B NOC with company X from 2014. I had to stop because my work permit expired and I could not renew it, so I got a student permit for a course. With this new work permit in 2016 I plan to work for another company Y in a job that has the same B NOC than my experience in 2014. Will this new B NOC experience be added to the 4 months I already have in that B NOC so Express Entry will give me points for 1 year of Canadian experience soon?
3. If I’m working for company Y, can I get a free LMIA from another company Z to get 600 points for Express Entry?
4. I live in Alberta, so I’m planning to apply for postgraduate graduate provincial nomination. The problem is that it takes too long to get the nomination and my work permit would most likely expire before. Is there a way to extend my stay until I get the nomination?
5. I’m very anxious about getting my PR, I barely sleep and I feel so desperate, I feel that these options are long shots and not likely to work. Is there a better way to get my PR?
Thank you!
