Hard to answer this without knowing the contents of your GCMS notes. These status updates might no have a lot of correspondence with real time applications processing.

Hello Asivad,

Thank you for all your support. I just wanted to ask you few more things

1) Is Thomas Cook traveler's Cheque accepted now since I have heard that most of the banks in Canada won't accept Traveler's Cheque now (not sure whether this is correct or not)?

Get a pre-loaded multi currency debit card from your bank. Probably the best way of carrying funds in this day and age.

2) Can we take Masala Powders with us. If so do we need to declare?

Shouldn't be required unless you are bringing in substantial quantities to last you for months/years!

3) If we are taking our Credit Card do we have to declare the total limit amount in CAD ?

Not required.

Thanks in advance,
RJ

Congratulations! I never got around to creating a separate thread but I did post some experiences here in March/April. I'll search for those and link those posts on this post later.
I second this idea. It would be great to hear about your experiences / thoughts. If you decide to create a separate thread, please let me know.

I just received my GCMS notes. requested April 19th!
It is 336 pages!!!!! and on pages 325- 329 I find these info. Please help me understand.

1. Where is my application right now? CPC Ottawa
2. Why I don't see anything about POF? That is the last hurdle and your application isn't there yet.
3. How does it look in general?
Looks fine for now. Program eligibility appears to be met and CRS is fine too - background checks in process.

Text: Name on Application changed: Old Value(s): First name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Gender, City, Country, New Value (s): Last Name, First name, DOB, Gender, City, Country, What is this?

Your file was hosted on GCMS.

Thanks Asivad. You are always a big help. Another question if you don't mind:
The due date is 29/04/2016. Does it mean anything at all? Because I see that there has been no work on my app since 28/01/2016.

Probably that the officer would've planned on returning to your file on that date, can be known for sure only by getting GCMS notes again.

Hi Asivad

I have a question regarding the landing process. I am an PNP applicant from province Ontairo currently working in Province Alberta. Please note that My office head office is in Province Ontario. I am planning to do landing in Ambassador bridge in Windsor, Ontario.

I can do landing in Ontario only after my current assignment in Alberta is completed ?

My plan is that I can finish my current project is two months and then I can ask my employer to re-locate me to Ontario.

Can I do landing only in Ontario and come back to Alberta and then work for two more months. After that I can move to Ontario.

Can you please suggestion or any issues around it ?

Thanks
Ajay

Thank you Asivad but when I checked CIC it says

"These funds could be in the form of:

cash, documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.), or
documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers’ drafts, cheques, travellers’ cheques or money orders)."

So is it okay if we bring debit card ?

Hi Asivad,

I have already applied for EE. My wife recently gave the IELTS and our score is better now if we apply with her as the primary applicant. Do I need to withdraw my EE profile and delete my job bank profile. I honestly feel my EE profile is useless now because I'll apply as a dependent to my wife. Please suggest.

Thanks.

You can certainly finish your landing in Ontario and go back to Alberta (or anywhere else in Canada), live and work there for as long as you want.

Perfectly fine. A pre-loaded debit card is basically plastic CAD currency less applicable conversion charges, if any. If you're worried, carry the documentation which proves that you've loaded the debit card with 'X' amount of CAD.

If the score on your existing profile is below 450, that profile won't likely get you an ITA at any time in the foreseeable future so you can either simply ignore it (and it will lapse within 1 year) or you can withdraw that profile. Neither of those actions will have any impact on the other EE profile.

Thanks Asivad. I'll withdraw EE and deactivate my Job Bank profile. Then I'll ask my wife to submit EE and create her Job Bank profile. Job bank profile is required only for the primary applicant right?

Thanks again, you're the best.

Hello members, please help me with this situation, I am 4 Jan 2016 SINP EE applicant, I sent bank statement of my saving account /04 Oct- 04 Jan/ stating total balance required for 4 people. There is shown transaction history but the problem is that money were less than required during Oct4-Nov 11 (1500 USD). Now I received this letter from officer. ''In my review of the funds you have submitted, they do not meet the requirements of what was requested from you on April 28, 2016. You were requested to provide bank statements that show your balances. You have provided a document that shows the debits and credits to your account between October 12, 2015 and April 30, 2016, however, it does not state the balances.

Please submit a clear document that lists transactions in order by date and shows the fluctuations in the balance of your account between October 4, 2015 through January 4, 2016.''
Seniors please help what document should I send, can I send a Real estate evaluation document, or this is not acceptable proof??
