Option 2.

Points won't be recalculated as you've already submitted post ITA application and received COPR. You don't need to provide ECA or birth certificate for your spouse. You'll need to provide proof of relationship, 'Additional Family Information' form, bio page(s) of the spouse's passport, additional POF (if you aren't under CEC and/or don't have an LMIA supported job offer), spouse's upfront medicals report and PCC(s) for all countries where your spouse has lived in for 6 months or longer (not necessarily in a row) since they turned 18.

IRCC will ask you to return your passport and COPR as those will be invalidated now. They will process your spouse's inclusion into this application and then send you a fresh PPR asking for both of your passports.
Thanks Asivad! 1 more query. Can I inform CIC about marriage on 10th July right now? I mean would they consider a planned event as "change in circumstances" and allow submission of relevant documents post marriage within same application? Or should I wait to get my marriage complete on 10th July, get marriage certificate in a day or 2 and then inform CIC. Considering my CoPR end date is 18-July, I am hoping my intimation of "change in circumstances" after 10th July should not be a risk. Any comments?

Hi Asivad, In my GCMS Notes, The Program Assistant says on 16th Jan 2016 that my duties did not appear to be consistent with the NOC code selected however he further says that he is fine with the Main Duties and also agrees that i meet the minimum requirement of 12 months of experience. Intrestingly, on 5th Feb 2016 under the A11.2 Assessment, A Case Analyst (Selection Review) says that he is satisfied with all the duties and main duties as well and he further says that as per R75(2) PA meets the FSW criteria and then on the same day, he transfers my file to LVO i.e New Delhi.

Now, i am bit confused about what could actually have happened? Should i believe the Case Analyst review since it is latest or the Program Assistant review? I don't know who is higher in hierarchy?

Can you please help me with this? Thanks...
If the more recent observation is positive, you don't really have to worry about this. There should be other background checks at LVO as well but you don't have to worry of your experience is genuine.

All the best!

There are 2 questions in the EE applications pertaining to visa refusal. If you had a visa refusal and answered Yes to those, nothing to be worried about here. If you had a visa refusal and answered No to those, you can send in a CSE apologizing for the oversight (caused by your inability to fully understand those questions) and provide details of the visa refusals as well.

Planned events don't make the slightest difference to IRCC. You're cutting it too fine by waiting till the last week just ahead of your COPR expiry. Nothing wrong with that except it being risky.

Recommend that you consider getting legally married much earlier than that (you can have the formal social ceremony on 10th July) so that you're able to provide relevant documents to IRCC at the earliest. In addition to your spouse's documents, you would also undergo fresh upfront medicals so that you get a longer extension on your COPR the next time.

This one is unlikely to be acceptable but you never know - 1 week might not raise red flags or it might.

Recommend that you submit this PCC along with proof of having applied for a fresh FBI PCC. Mention in the LoE that you are cognizant of the fact that you may be required to procure a fresh PCC as you went back to the US for a week's visit after having received this PCC and request them to grant you suitable extension if they want you to get another PCC. Apply for a fresh PCC right away - you know how long those things take!

All the best!

Hi asivad and forum members,

Yesterday i recieved 2 seperate messages in mycic account containing add docs requests :

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require that you upload the following documents to your MyCIC account:

 > Birth registration/certificate: Birth registration/certificate copy of birth certificate. This must be received by: 2016/04/15

Ok I have birth certificate ( original ) and planning to upload a scanned color copy of it. Is it enough ?

 > Travel History Info Form: Information on your previous travel history (trip duration and purpose) including citizenship and resident document information. This must be received by: 2016/04/15

I have never traveled outside the country and mentioned this in my travel history also while filling E-APR, I am now feeling confused why CIC is asking it again as I don't have any travel history. However i downloaded IMM5562E.pdf [ Supplementary information : Your Travels ] and filling it. I am single/never married and have no children . besides myself,is it all right to tick "did not travel" in spouse and children section also ?? or there is some other way to do it ? Please mention also if this is the required form or i need to download and fill sth else. ..

also what does phrase "citizenship and resident document information" mean in my case ?

 > Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature Personal History fully completed - this is to include current employment. This must be received at this office by: 2016/04/15

Feeling confused again as I mentioned my job ( which is my first and continued till date ) in both "work history" and "personal history" as well while filling E-APR. However I downloaded IMM5669E.pdf [ Schedule A : Background/Declaration ] and planning to fill in exactly in accordance with the data i filled while submitting online app .. So,there needs to be sth new in the form or repeating previously filled information is all right with this form... do i need to fill "personal history" section only or entire form ??

Thanks and Regards,
M.Zeeshan

Leave those sections blank - they don't apply to you.

Applies only to someone who traveled to another country on a temporary or permanent basis. Doesn't apply to you.

Just Personal history section and include current employment. Could be a data transfer issue - sometimes the upload goes awry.

Hi Asivad and Seniors

I have couple of queries

1). Is there a salary requirement for the work experience (Outside Canada Experience) for Express Entry ?
And

2). For Proof of funds is it mandatory to have the required funds in account for six months or my dad can just gift me that amount if i get ITA and have a notarized gift deed ?

I appreciate your help

Hey Asivad!

Hope you are well and can share some light!

As a part of my initial package submitted to OINP , I sent a copy of the downloaded report from the WES website in the package.
will this result in return of my application package?

Also what is the significance of asking people to authorise WES to share the result with OINP directly(Quote Jan11 update) . isnt this to verify the legibility of the report in the first place.

I Immiediately sent them a scan of the original report i recieved via courier which has WES seal and order reciept of the duplicate report authorising WES to share results of report with OINP.

How much of a trouble and risk am i in , in terms of application being returned due to incomplete documents

Might take 4-6 weeks. They won't refund processing fees, just RPRF.

Perfectly fine.
