Hi Asivad,

I need suggestion from you on my situation .
I did one more time IELTS, now my score is 452.
Do you suggest applying Ontario PNP is good step.
Is there any chance to get ITA soon.

Could you please suggest on my case please.

452 is a very competitive score. You can expect an ITA in the next 2-3 months, if not earlier. Ignore the OINP option.

Hello Asivad. Please guide me.
My Lmia is on process for NOC 0631. Can I apply for EE and get the 600 points with just the Lmia and still waiting for WP? Will it affect my Eligibility in some ways?
Thank you.

Presuming this is not a dual-intent LMIA, you can claim 600 points as soon as the LMIA is approved and apply for PR. You can also be employed on the basis of that LMIA job offer.

Thanks for your response. What is dual-intent Lmia? Does it differ from a regular Lmia? My lawyer is applying for Lmia+WP so I assumed its dual. Does it mean it won't give me the 600 points and apply for PR upon receipt of Lmia?

Hi Asivad,

I have an urgent query. I was asked to submit Schedule A(IM5669) for my spouse but my mistake in the address history at one instance i have mentioned 2010-04 instead of 2010-09 now it portrays a gap out there.

Though in my personal history and the earlier forms filled with CIC i have mentioned the correct dates.

Please guide me what should i do now ??

do we have any contact number where we can call them and explain about this mistake ??
i have to call from india so please provide a number if you have.

or can we raise a CSE for the same.

or do we have any other way.

Check with your lawyer. A dual intent LMIA allows you to temporarily start working simultaneously while the LMIA application is under process. Once the LMIA is approved, you will get 600 additional points.

Hi Asivad,

I have got a confusion with ECA assessment, appreciate your help. My WES Canadian Education Equivalency says "Bachelor Degree (Three Years) and Executive Master of Business Administration"

The Executive MBA had 15 courses (5 semesters) and the duration was for 1 year 8 months (may not be noteworthy, mentioning anyway). Now I dont know how to translate this WES statement of 'Executive Master of Business Administration' into CIC provided Conversion table for ECA.

When I go into Education section on my EE profile, there are 2 level of education field.

1. Level of education
2. Level of education (Canadian equivalent) shown on Education Credential Assessment (ECA) report Your ECA report will tell you if your foreign education is equal to a completed Canadian degree, diploma or certificate. You must have the results of an ECA report to answer the question. If you are not sure what your result was, visit our website to understand what your ECA report results mean.

For my case, can you guide me please regarding what should I fill in on those 2 level of education fields for both Bachelor and Executive MBA:

Bachelor Degree (Three Years) [Please correct me if I am wrong]
1. Level of education: Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees, one must be for a program of three years
2. Level of education (Canadian Equivalency shown on ECA): Bachelors degree

Executive MBA:
1. Level of Education: ?
2. Level of Education: ?

Thanks for your help.

Both of you can choose '2 or more' option. It is independently assessed as an executive Masters of Business Administration which is at least an additional post Bachelors degree/diploma/certificate.

All the best!

Hello Asivad,
I have a question concerning the Employment records, if I worked two different jobs, but I only submitted one in my application, if I didn't mention my second one on my intial application, because they were two different NOC codes, and submit it now will that cause a problem?

Do you have an ITA? If yes, did you get that ITA on the basis of your application which did not mention the other job? If yes, that other job has no relevance to your application. Simply include it in Personal history section of your post ITA application.

Yes I did get an ITA, but the main one was a 7 years experience and the other was just for 2 years, so I used the main one with the 7 years experience. By the way you are a God sent, all the best my friend :)

Hi Asivad,

I need your help in this.. I received AINP nomination and I submitted all the documents to CIC as per their checklist : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf

This checklist asks to send 6 photos as per Appendix A Photo specifications. In this checklist they ask to put name,DOB and date photo was taken on 5 photos and leave the 6th photo blank. I followed this checklist and send them 7 photos. With my name, DOB and date photos were taken on 5 photos, 1 photo blank and Details of the photographer on 7th photo.

The appendix A states to put my name & DOB and details of the photographer on one photo. I have not put my name & DOB on the photo on which the photographer put his stamp. Will this be a problem? I have done what was stated in their pnp checklist. Please help I have not received my file number yet and if they return my file this time then my AINP nomination would have expired. Please suggest what should i do. Thanks in advance.
