hello guys, how you doing? I would like to thank you everyone on this forum who are supporting each other during their PR processing. Finally, I became PR of canada on December 2, 2015. but I would also like to share my story and it may help or motivate people who are waiting here since long time because of some changes made by CIC and implement new "express entry" system.
So I applied for PR under CEC in april 2014. during that time, AOR comes in 20 to 30 days but I received my AOR in September 2014 which is almost 5 months because CIC misplaced my application inside the office and i tried to contact them with my fedex tracking code but they replied me and said they haven't received any application. Then i tried to contact my local MP and he told me that file is misplaced in office and once they find out they will issue me file number. But it was getting panic and also worrying about cap gonna fill out soon so i started preparing for another application and whole process of collecting documents start again like RCMP, PCC, JOB LETTER AND PAY STUBS. once i finished my all documents for 2nd application and get to my lawyer, same day i get my AOR number which was the happiest moment. then I got my medical request in jan, 2015 and i was hoping to become PR in april but because of the slow process i have to wait another 9 months and then finally got my passport request in nov and i landed in Dec, 2015. it took almost 21 months to become PR of canada. and so many things get delayed during the process as well.
So i would like to thank you for supporting me during the process of PR. don't loose hope, we are still better than those guys who's file got returned because of the cap full and they are still struggling to get their number in express entry.
