Has anyone been to Thailand on RTD? If yes, can you please tell me the process, what hurdles (if any) you faced because of RTD and not a proper passport.

I'm sure thailand can issue their E - Visa even on RTD but I'm worried about airlines and immigration. I have PR as well.

To be on the safer side, email the airline you will be taking with your questions and have a copy of that.

That's what I do if I am not able to get the answers online.

All the best!

Thailand can visit on RTD, get the E visa and try to get the Bangkok flight from Vancouver by Air Canada

I recently flew to Thailand, transited in Tokyo Narita, and Seoul Incheon on the way back. no issues as long as you don't leave the airport. Be careful when filling the thai e-visa application. One small error and they cancel your application and you will have to reapply

Hi, I have no pr and just refugee travel document. I have valid us visa on my expired travel document also.
I’ll apply for Thailand visa for visit. I always see Tokyo Narita transit.
You said that no issue. Do u have pr? Is everything ok now pr just travel document transit in Tokyo?

I also don't have my PR yet and have a valid US visa on my expired RTD, but that doesn't matter; you can transit in Tokyo Narita airport if you don't leave the airport, and it is in the same terminal. The transit also has to be shorter than 12 hours and cannot be at night as the airport closes at night. If you are doing short transit during the day, that should be okay. You can check your here for more detial- https://www.narita-airport.jp/en/airportguide/connect/inter-inter/.

Thank you very much for all the information. I’ll check it.
