I'm actually waiting for my test invitation. I applied by Oct. 2013 but I had to provide my son school school records by Jan. 2014 so technically I applied for the family application by Jan. 2014.
I wish I can do the test soon ^_^

It seems that Ottawa will not have any ceremony in January, also moving the files from Kingston to Ottawa will delay the
processing for most of Ottawa applications.
As I remember last year there were no ceremonies in Ottawa from January to March, Hopefully this year will not be as the last year
