Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

I checked my tracker and it shows my language and physical are updated and completed now. It's a good news to me as everything was on silent for a long period of time. BG and prohibitions are still in progress. in 2 weeks I will pass 30 months of waiting

Ohhh this is fantastic!!! Hopefully this long journey comes to an end for you very very soon This is definitely a good sign!

Guys!!

I just got an update after waiting since July 2023. The language skills is now completed!! But the security clearance is still in progress I thought they won't work on my application until background check is completed. I guess I was wrong? OR it is completed but they haven't updated it on the tracker? What are your thoughts?

The same happened to my friend recently he's been waiting since Sep 2023. It's definitely a good sign! I'm still waiting to see some movement in my application, feels like I've been forgotten , it's been more than a year since my last update, test marked completed early Nov and nothing since.

Don't lose hope! Your turn will definitely come soon!! As you know there is absolutely no order in how IRCC does anything. So for all we know this update could mean nothing and there is a chance that you will get your citizenship before anyone with these updates!! lol

Well the GCMS notes I received this morning says otherwise. Not a single note/update since last year. I wish I could be as hopeful as you, but this has been driving my mental health to the ground .

I feel you! Ugh this is definitely a tough mental battle! Staying hopeful when all the signs point otherwise is not easy. I am hopeful for others, not for myself for the same reasons!! lol
But to not lose our sanity, we have no choice but to try to stay hopeful
