Hello everyone. I'm a newbie. I will apply fora TWP soon. I just want to ask if it is required to submit a bank statement. If so, around how much should my account contain to ensure approval?
Thank you.

Technically it is not required.

Some did not pass bank statements but were approved while others were rejected.

Some passed bank statements but were also rejected.

In my opinion, the VO will assess if you can support yourself in Canada. There are a lot of factors:

1. Your salary in Canada.
2. Your benefits in Canada.
3. Stability of the job in Canada.

To support this in case there will be uncertainties. They might check:

1. Your bank statements.
2. Your salary here. - they might require SSS. it depends.
3. Your assets (house, car, etc).

Better send all documents that can support you financially. I've seen in forum bank statements ranging from 100k to 500k. But bank statement will not be the only factor.

Hope this helps.

Hello Everyone! Newbie po ako dito. Anyway, ako po ay ng-aapply ng TWP.Together with my application, I also included my wife's and daughter's applications. Na-submit po medical results namin last July 6, 2012 pero until now, wla pa ring feedback from CEM.

Ask ko lang po kung mayroon po ba dito na ng-submit rin kasama mga dependents nila? Pls.advise. Maraming salamat po!

IMO submitting of bank statements only apply if you're travelling with the whole family and your salary on your work in Canada is not that much to support the family. Example is you're coming with a family of 5, your salary is less than $20/hr. How can you support your first few months of stay there if you're going to depend only on your salary. You need to bring extra $$$ to rent your house, pay bills etc....
