@ out @ wrollin

Both of you are correct but are talking two different scenarios. Out is talking about semi- and low-skilled workers under PNP. Hence, these workers are eligible for PR. Wrollin, on the other hand, is mentioning semi- and low-skilled workers who did not qualify for PNP like in Ontario which has no program for NOC C and D. Hence, these workers need to upgrade their levels to be eligible for PNP.

Check the PNP of all provinces, they differ. I think only Alberta has this PNP program for NOC C and D.
Hi Cabalen,
Well my employer is from Alberta, NOC 6662 must be D
What do you think???
How ever my occupation is not a regulated one, do you feel it comes under PNP?? Or later I must up-grade my profile?
Please share your experince

@KARAN

You mentioned from your previous post that you are an automotive window technician but under NOC 6662, which is designated for specialized cleaners. You should fall under NOC 7322 but this is just my understanding. If you have your LMO already then that should be correct. Your employer and HRSDC should know better.

It seems your NOC is not included in AINP. Please check this site thoroughly http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrating/ainp-eds-semi-skilled-criteria.aspx

The next level from NOC 6662, you can be a cleaning supervisor NOC 6215. You will then be NOC B (a skilled worker) and eligible for AINP.

Do your research. I am only reading this in the Internet and my interpretation maybe wrong.

I'll be pasting here the websites for your references:

NOC 6662
http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca/report-eng.do?noc=6662&action=search_occupation_confirm

NOC 6215
http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca/report-eng.do?noc=6215&action=search_occupation_confirm

AINP
http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrating/ainp.aspx

NOC Matrix

Anyway, I have out and other members here who are actively responding and checking the facts.

If I may....Cabalen is on the right track (+1 for your efforts in clarifying this). This is technically OT for this thread. But to go on:

Each Province has different eligibility criteria for their nominee programs. However most do have classes, streams, or initiatives for skilled workers. Assessed skill level is only part of the eligibility criteria that determines if one can apply for PR under the PNP program.

There are options in applying for PR for Skilled Workers/Professionals - be it under the FSWP (2013 - FSWC or FSTC) or another option aside from PNP (economic/employer-driven streams) is CEC. But these federal programs do exclude low-skilled/entry-skilled workers from the PR process - part of the eligibility requirement for these programs are Skill Type NOC 0, A or B. This is why there are initiatives under the PNP programs of some Provinces for low-skilled/entry-skilled workers - and applicants need to satisfy the specific eligibility criteria set by the PNPs of the respective Provinces. One of these is the minimum requirement for language testing ( recognized testing agencies are IELTS or CELPIP for English language proficiency).

Confusion usually arises on sweeping generalizations of the eligibility requirements for obtaining PR under PNPs such as below:
applying pnp for noc c&d depends on the province stand. normally selected jobs qualified for pnp are in food industries, hospitality/tourism (hotels or casino venues) and truckers (higher grade qualification drivers).

quebec, north west territories and yukon has also its own program for pnp....i hope i help!
So as not to be OT for this thread - other alternatives for answers aside from the cic website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp is to look over and join the threads for shared experiences of those who have applied for and have obtained PR - most often you will find applicants who have similar circumstances. You have great seniors there to answer your queries on transitioning from TFWs to PRs:

Yes, you are correct cabalen,
Each province has its own independent law irregardless it's neighboring provinces law.
That is why different application is needed for specific province if apply for RP.

Not counting from the pick up date. Haay...? Mukhang dito po ako magpapasko baka pati new year... Haay... No white Christmas with hubby for me... Haay... Maybe God has a better plan... Anyway God is good... Ü kaya go lang ng go... Good vibes pa rin... (kahit nalulungkot po ako... Haay...)

Good morning po from Baguio City!
30 November 2012 - exactly 20 weeks na po application ko counting from my pick up date.

Haay...

God is good...

Wala po akong lmo or employer dahil open work permit or spousal open work permit po yung visa application ko.
May mali po ba...?
Masama po ba yun...?

Everyone is welcome here regardless of what kind of visa you are applying for..
