Congratulations !!! It is really good news and raises hope for those who are waiting in the in wings.Could you kindly post whether it is " single entry visa" ? Are the passports of your parents and brother going to expire shortly,less than a year ?

Yes it is single entry visa ( "Number of entries- One" as mention on visa )
My Mom's passport expires in 2023
My dad's passport expires in 2021
My brother passport expires in 2025
They don't care they got single entry visa or multiple MOST IMPORTANT is that they got visas on time as they are coming to attend marriage of a relative which is next week on 18 June.

1. family ties in Canada and home country
2. purpose of the visit

(so the purpose was convocation which we already missed. Secondly, they feel my family ties are stronger in Canada to my husband than to my parents in India).

Sorry about that. I also applied online for my wife from India. They refused for 3 reasons:
Travel History- My wife has no travel history
Family ties in Canada and in country of Residence - Myself(sponsor) is in Canada and my family & my wife's family is in India,
Funds for travelling to Canada- My wife didn't have a lot money in her account earlier. So I wrote a financial support letter for her, I explained that I will be responsible for all expenses but I believe CIC didn't accepted that.

I have applied again. this time I added some money to her account and explained in detail about family ties. showing all family member's address in India.
My wife's working in India and I included proofs for our relationship, jobs, flight tickets, hotel bookings etc.
