My CRS is 472 and I am definitely not sure I can get an ITA by the end of the year. It was good score at the start of the year and I am frustrated that the score has become kind of an average score at this point.

I have CLB 10 in IELTS Reading...and CLB 9 in the rest of the sections. I may get CLB 10 in Listening but not in Writing,Speaking if I take the IELTS again.I am not confident about it.

So I am looking to increase the score may be by taking TEF. It is a very difficult test and I know that but even if I can get 6-10 points it's really an advantage. I need some suggestions if I should go for TEF or stay at 472 and wait. Please suggest me a way forward.

If you feel confident enough to get at least CBL 6 from TEF, you can go after that.

It would be far easier to get clb 10's in ielts than hope to get 6 in TEF. keep on repeating the ielts and you will get 9 points more. TO get that in tef you need 3 3's which is not easy if you are not french educated.

Is there a minute chance of an ITA by the end of the year. I'll give the IELTS again if it is actually necessary. I am at a stage where in I am thinking of doing a 1 year MS degree instead.

Other option is just to hit provincial nomination.

Here is the thing. With new IELTS you are risking to loose point on other sections and actually hit lower score. On TEF you are risking nothing (your score for French cannot go lower than it already is).
