Hi all,
I am an international student. I have a valid study permit and have completed my first semester in UFV for my BCIS program with a 3.91 GPA. I went to Dubai for Summer, and will be returning in July 27th. Fall 2019 starts in September but I will be taking it off because I was really high on wait lists and could not get my classes, therefore I have moved my payment to Winter 2020 and was planning to work full time until I have read some really bad things about getting a PGWP, my study permit being invalid, etc etc...
Since I will not be able to work full time on just my study permit which states in conditions: (MAY ACCEPT EMPLOYMENT ON OR OFF CAMPUS IF MEETING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS PER R186(F), (V), OR (W). MUST CEASE WORKING IF NO LONGER MEETING THESE CRITERIA)
Do I need to apply for a Work Permit... or change my status to Visitor... or just remain in my current study permit? Will I need to apply for a new study permit? I would like to stay on the path to PR... and this is really scary for me.
Thank you.
