Do PR Refusals Come Sooner? Processing Time Question

Hey everyone, I submitted my PR application under common-law sponsorship on Feb 4 2025 received AOR Feb 27 2025 (is that good?), and I know the expected processing time can be around a year or more. However, I was wondering—do refusals generally come sooner? For context, when I applied for my...

IRCC Tracker - Why Use It?

Why do you use IRCC Tracker? Does it offer more updates than PR portal? What's better GCKey tracker or IRCC tracker and why? Most importantly does it provide updates sooner??

Anyone else obsessively checking PR status daily while stuck in PGWP limbo? What are you doing to pass the time?

Hey everyone, I’m in BC, and like a lot of you, I’ve applied for PR while on my PGWP, and now I find myself logging in every morning, obsessively checking for updates. Feels like time is moving at a snail’s pace, and I wish I could speed things up. I'm curious to know your ages and your plans...

By Percentage (%) What is the Approval Rate for Commonlaw Sponsorship? Inland

I get that exact statistics aren’t available, but speculation based on observed cases is still useful. I was asking about general trends from what people have seen here—not a scientific study. If the vast majority of applicants who meet these criteria get approved, then that’s an answer in...

By Percentage (%) What is the Approval Rate for Commonlaw Sponsorship? Inland

That actually helps a lot—thanks! So more than 90% sounds like a safe bet, even if it’s not an official number. I just wanted to get a rough idea of what to expect. But man, what I’m seeing on /r/canadaexpressentry is insane. The number of people who have spent 8+ years studying, working...

By Percentage (%) What is the Approval Rate for Commonlaw Sponsorship? Inland

I understand that a rough estimate isn’t actual data, but I’m just curious based on what you’ve personally seen. Even if it’s anecdotal, would you say most common-law applications get approved? If you had to guess, is it closer to 70%, 80%, or 90%?

By Percentage (%) What is the Approval Rate for Commonlaw Sponsorship? Inland

I get that every case is different, but based on what you've seen on this forum, what percentage of common-law sponsorship applications do you think get approved? Even a rough estimate would be helpful—80%? 90%? Just looking for a ballpark figure

By Percentage (%) What is the Approval Rate for Commonlaw Sponsorship? Inland

That’s not really how statistics work, but I get your point. I was asking about trends, like from what you've seen here, do most people get approved or refused? I know it’s case by case, but surely there’s a general pattern

By Percentage (%) What is the Approval Rate for Commonlaw Sponsorship? Inland

I get that no one here has official statistics, but I was asking based on the cases you've seen on this forum. Surely, there must be a general trend? I know approval depends on evidence, but I was curious about the general success rate based on what people share here

Did your sponsor check their email? If you applied with a consultant like me chances are the aor will go to them. Maybe ask the office if you've applied with a consultant. I think most AORs being received within 20-30 days right now. I applied Feb 4 2025 and received AOR on Feb 27.

By Percentage (%) What is the Approval Rate for Commonlaw Sponsorship? Inland

Very rarely do I see applications get refused. Like I think 86-90% of applicants get approved. But I'd love to know the real number.

    FEBRUARY 2025 Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Agent cost me $2,300, but to be honest, the application process seemed like a paperwork nightmare. I wouldn't have used an agent if my friend hadn’t recommended them, but at that price—especially with unlimited consulting in person and over WhatsApp—it was hard to pass up. ChatGPT had mentioned...
