Hi everyone. If cic asks for T4 and I'm not able to provide, will NOA be enough?

That totally depends on the VO who is reviewing your File. But my understanding is T4 is crucial.

The VO can still ignore NOA but T4 I am not too sure. Shouldn't you be having T4's to submit?

Can you shed some more light into your case?

I dont know the details of your backgrounds. But T4 provides employee-specific income summary for that year, meanwhile, NOA shows the total income. Both are critical information that will support your qualifying period, if they match with your other documents, especially letter of employment.

Can you tell us more why you can't get that T4?

NOA doesn't show employer-specific information. T4 does. The only alternative to the T4 is paystubs (an end-of-year paystub with cumulative year-to-date information is pretty much the equivalent).

But, since employers are REQUIRED to issue T4s, there's pretty much no excuse not to have one. So - why aren't you able to provide?
