t4 Requirement

Hi,

I have question concerning my documents for the application. I am ready with all the employment documents necessary for the application expect T4. I spoke to both of my previous employers, and they said it might take upto 2 to 3 weeks for issuing T4. So, do i wait for my t4's or apply with the employment letter and the pay stubs.

Please help me to figure out this question.

Call CRA and let them know the reason why u need it urgent. they will mail in within days as far as i know. 18009598281 is toll free number if your are calling within canada, outside dont know on top of my head. will post a link if u need further help

also, when u filed ur taxes did u not keep a copy for ur records from 2012? or whoever did ur taxes did they keep the t4 copy or gave u back?

T4 for 2013 not for 2012.

I would suggest you send T4 along with your NOA for year 2013

oh sorry i thought u were talking about 2012 lol..well in that case just send pay stubs for each week, and send t4 later along with NOA. i hate when employers wait till last min to give those t4s out -.-. they should submit by end of jan technically.

Agreed!! Send your app in asap. You can always submit T4's later via email.

2013 T4 is usually not issued until the end of Feb (deadline for employer reporting T4)

If you have all your pay stubs you can send them all pay stubs. Thats what I did.

one pay stub of January and the last pay stub of December should do for now. The latter will have the YTD income which is what you will get in T4. By the time your application is processed you would have your NOA too. Go ahead and shoot the application to CIC. Good luck

Agree with this, but you should include a letter of explanation (you'll send the T4 and NOA later).
if you have them you should also include the T4 and NOA for 2012.

you mean CEC ? Yes. it is one of the CEC requirements

If you setup a login for the CRA online account you can dowload your last 3-4 years of T4's
and i think copies of your NOA.

Just went throuogh the same process myself to get old T4's.
