Hi All,
I currently hold a 12 month IEC visa (due to my country of citizenship), my spouse holds a 24 month IEC visa (due to her nationality).
1. My question is, after say 9 months of working on my IEC visa, while still having circa 3 months of validity left, can I apply for a SOWP to get a further 12 month work permit, that will start, as soon as my current one expires? I'd want to overlap my application for SOWP while still on a valid IEC permit in order to maintain continuous work authorization.
2. Essentially, is it possible to apply for a SOWP while still having a valid IEC permit?
3. What would be my best course of action in your opinion?
Just to add, I will be eligible for the SOWP. Both our jobs will be in NOC A, B or 0 and we will have all the necessary paperwork.
Thanks
