Ok, I've got some update from the online status.
Am I going to receive an RQ?

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 17, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on December 9, 2014.

We sent you a letter on February 4, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the letter before sending us additional information, as the letter will outline all information that is required. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

It could be RQ or it could be additional documentation CIC might require or fingerprints etc. Please wait for the mail to arrive.

Congrats to you! That must be a big relief after 3 years of waiting.

Any other update for test invite? I am still waiting for my daughter's invite. Her application was filed in March 2014 and transferred to Surrey in Aug. 2014 but up to now no invite yet.

Here is my timeline:

1. Sent application to CIC Dec 2014
2. letter acknowledging receipt: Mar 2015
3. Started processing application: Mar 2015
4. File transferred to Surrey Citizenship office: Mar 2015

from what I gather it takes approx. 7-8 months for Surrey office to process applications..

Do you mean 7-8 months from in-process state until test date, or until oath date?

From the date you revive an email that your file was transferred to the test date

I have not received any emails from CIC but this is the online status for my application

Citizenship

Your file was transferred to the Citizenship Surrey office on March 11, 2015. The Citizenship Surrey office will contact you.

I haven't seen any updates in Surrey but it seems some December applicants of Vancouver have got their test dates...I am hoping that Surrey should also start sending out test dates in a couple of weeks...

Exactly I have seen several Vancouver December 2014 applicants scheduled for test on April 23 ! No word from Surrey

@colocho13 If you see the excel sheet, there aren't many applicants in Surrey, most of the applicants in BC are from Vancouver office.
