Supporting documentation - proof of English

Hi - my query is this: my application was returned to me stating the document I included for proof of English speaking was 'not on the list of acceptable evidence'. I submitted a transcript of my University degree. I was surprised to see my application returned because of this - I am now unsure as to what to supply instead. Should I send a copy of my actual degree certificate? It seems my transcript isn't appropriate...

I am sorry to know that.

I have seen in this forum that people who just send the transcripts, there is high chance of application being returned.
Does your transcript state that the course was completed successfully?
By the way what was the course/degree you have done? Maybe that degree/course does not fall under the eligible categories.

You can send the copy of the degree and transcripts together to see if they can accept it. If they don't accept it then the application would be returned and then you have to do third party tests like CELPIP G or CELPIP G LS or IELTS General etc.

Resubmit application with copies of diploma and transcript. You will need to highlight the fact that the school was in England. I am not sure how this was overlooked but if the officer was not able to verify the education level or the country where the diploma was issued then they will not accept the proof of education. Proof has to also show that degree was awarded. School cannot be distance learning.

Thanks - the transcript details progression decision (level 3 achieved) and comments of the board (Award Second Class Honours). The degree is BA (Hons) Hospitality Management. The address of the university is listed thereon along with the results of each module.
Personally I am baffled as to why this was returned - as far as I am aware it's exactly what is requested in the section 'gather documents'.

Not sure what "level 3 achieved" means? Thats probably what confused them. Send diploma.

Yes - first time I made a blunder with the wrong year where I signed. I put 2014 instead of 2015. Highly frustrating error! Exact same documentation supplied.
