Guys, Any pointers for someone looking for a job in supply chain, demand planning sort of profile? How easy or tough it would be to find and which state will present the best scenario?
We are in the process of getting the PR, got ITA already and preparing documents right now..
A bit skeptical about how readily the Canadian recruiters would accept an immigrant for good roles. Any idea about the salary I may expect in kind of role you mentioned and which city would have better opportunities as I have been working in mobile handsets industry..
Salaries depend a bit on area and region. For the junior positions, it would be somewhere 40-55k per year. (somewhere around 3K per month after taxes).
I am working in a clothing factory as supply chain manager for more than 5 years. Could you please tell me Is it really difficult to find job as supply chain manager in Canada?
Once you land in Canada.. it is best advisable to take supply chain certification which will make your job search very easier than finishing without having certification.
Hello,
My CRS score is 448 and I have applied for PR through express entry. In a meanwhile, I am planning to do supply chain certification which would be helpful in getting the job in procurement/strategic sourcing in Canada. Can you suggest which is the best certification for supply chain ? I have 4 years of experience in procurement in power & gas industries. What is the chance of getting the job in supply chain ?
If you go for certification, forget Canadian certifications. Go fo Apics - it is faster and cheaper (less exams and better organized). Most companies are ok with that.
APICS has test centers in Canada and you can then take it and get with it the local ones.
And work his is not different from all around the world (same routine, so there is really not much to it).
