My parents' Supervisa application is being processed in a unique way..is it the case with other applications too? Please help...
My father and mother had applied for Supervisa online on 18th Nov..got medical request s on 4th December.. They had done e-medicals on 8th December together
But only my mom' s medical status updated as " passed " on 11 th Dec.but nothing on father's case...recently they requested the passport for my mom on 24 th December.. But father's application status still shows "Your Action is required" ( we need your medical information) from the time of medical information request , 4th Dec.2015...
Now, my concerns are:
* Normally couple's Supervisa application is considerd as a single file (I read in forum somewhere) and why did they request only mom's passport ?Not of principal applicant?is it the indication that my father won't get visa?
*Although medicals were done together before 19 days..nothing is updated: neither passed nor failed..nor remedicals for father why...?
Can I think that his medical was not submitted to cic by medical facility...? When I contacted medical center.. They sent me one paper it says e medical was done on 8th Dec. ...nothing more..
I would really appreciate your views and suggestions...

It seems like your father's medical results are not updated in CIC system. May be some error from medical facility to link your fathers medical results with e medical system. Please check with medical facility. Force them to share what exactly they updated in e-medical. Probably a screen shot of their submission, they may choose to hide the results but you should see whether they updated correct passport number, issue date, expiry date, exact name and possibly the CIC application number and UCI number.
When you apply for supervisa, 2 applications gets created one for your father and other for your mother. So CIC just worked on your mother's application possibly to keep a check on their processing time and your father's application is stuck with medical facility and not CIC. So CIC may not be bothered about it. This is my theory only, some seniors can correct me if I am wrong or not much updated.
I also don't think that these are any indications that your father's application will be rejected. It just that CIC is still thinking that your action is required and thats it.
Not sure if you can check with CIC about medical done but if nothing works out, you may think of doing your father medical test again at some other medical facility.

I also felt exactly like you that my father's e-medical information was not submitted well.Then I contacted medical facility through email 2 times...they did not reply the answer of my questions but sent a page with my father "s information : passport number, imei number, his photo, doctor who did medical's name , tests that were done...as a proof of e- medical submissions...
But the page , does not confirm the submission...
So I attached the same page in case specific inquiry to cic..hope they will consider or suggest further..

Once you know the timelines, please update me on PPR timelines, that is, when you sent and most importantly how long it took to receive back passport.
Also at your end, I think now you should wait for CIC reply for few days otherwise as last option, do another medical test at some other facility. There is no harm in that expect the money will be wasted.

My mother received Passport request on 23 December. ;D and today her passport has been dispatched from Embassy. Cheers!!
I am in a bit of a situation. When I applied for SuperVisa, I entered the travel dates starting end of December and ending in January. We all know that won't be possible now. I applied on Dec 2, 2015.
Does anyone know where the online applications are processed or how should I advise the visa officer with updated dates? Since my mom resides in Chandigarh, I have sent a case specific enquiry to Chandigarh VO but not sure if that is enough.

Dates doesn't matter. Case specific enquires normally took 28 days to got replied but they replied only if something is not common else they would not.

I got that you received the passport request on Dec 23rd. When did you actually submit the passport at VFS? and when did you actually received it back, Dec 31st?
This information is critical for me as I am running against deadline. Thanks in advance for your help.

Jan 12 - medical status updated " Passed"
Still no updates on the file.
Nearest city for them would be chandigarh.. So let see what happens.
I have sent out an email asking for an update , automated email states takes about 28 days before someone responds if they choose to do so .
