Yung application ng mother in law ko was recieved by Canada Embassy-Manila last May 30, 2013, month of June passed by and we're on the the 8th day of July but til now.... no reply whatsoever from embassy.. ( sad but true...)

..kung hindi pa ko nag email sa Canada Embassy Manila, matutulog na forever yung application documents ng mother in law ko.. anyways, after sending email last friday, i got a reply from CEM today asking my mother in law to undergo medical examination... haay buhay.

Darating din yan, medical nang mother ko sa July 11, nag-Alala ako, sana walang problema. Wala naman daw s'yang health problem na naramdaman. Keep me updated sa timeline mo. Saan ka dito sa Canada?

By the way, you need to purchase Medical Insurance for at least 1 year, very important! include the policy to your application kit. ($1400-$1600)
the applicant are your parents, so they are the one who will be applying to the Visa office in Manila. You can fill up the form in your computer and send them to your parents, all they are going to do is to sign the application and send it. Use the Visitors Application kit.Download it on cic website. There is one page additional document to filled by your parents, download it from Manila.gc.ca

yung visitor application kit ba na sinasabi mo is the document checklist for a temporary resident visa?and one thing more,prob ko if they will get approved kasi wla silang work and yung lot property namin is under pa sa name ng lola namin kaya wala silang property under there names,kundi bank accounts lang siguro,pag open ko sila ng account then i'll be sending money into their accounts siguro kahit maliit lang.thank you

Ang advise ko sa'yo kung nahihirapan ka sa pag prove nang home ties, ang nanay mo lang ang I-apply mo, then she have proof na uuwi sya kasi nandoon pa ang asawa Nya sa pinas. Yan ang home ties.

ask ko din sau pala,diba naka maternity leave ka?kasi i applied din for my ei mat and parental leave sa service canada since may 24 pa pero until now i haven't got any response from them, almost 1 month and 2 weeks na kaya i'm worried,i did call call center pero hindi naman daw nila ma desisyunan kasi need to be reviewed pa daw.ganun din ba katagal application mo for ei noon?im from alberta kaya ask ko lang kasi wala akong mapag tanungan dito regardless sa experience nila.thank you once again

About sa bank account, dapat at least 6 months na open na. Meaning kung July ka mag-apply, dapat Dec'12 orJan'13 na open na yan.
Nag apply ako nang EI Maternity last year, June 10 last day of work ko yan. End of June naman ako nagstart nakatanggap, kasi mayroon pang 2 weeks wait. I don't understand why you have to wait that long. How did you apply? Did you work enough hours within 52 weeks before you applied?

may balita na ba dito kung sino na nakatanggap ng supervisa ng magulang nila? hangang ngayon kasi wala pang natatanggap ang nanay ng visa nya. April 30 pa napickup papers nya at namedical ng May 21. Delay lang kasi napadala ng IOM ang medical result sa embassy. pinatawagn ko kapatid ko 1st week ng June sabi ng IOM napadala na daw nila, pero nung pinaconfirm ko kung napadala na nga nila, ang sabi June 24 daw pinadala. dapat talaga pina follow up din sa medical center ang result para hindi madelay ang processing.

hay yan din ang pinoproblema ko ngayun,. may visa na yung father ko.. pag sa mga agency sila nag-iinquire, pag-supervisa ayaw nila magbigay ng one way..
e last time (oct.2012) nung sa mother ko 2way binili ko at hindi naman namin narefund yung pabalik,. kaya one way lang ang gusto kong bilin..
hindi din naman daw hinanap sa port of entry yung return ticket nya since 4yr ang visa nya..

bibili na nga ko ng ticket online, kasi di naman tinatanung dun kung anong visa ng passenger.. natatakot lang ako na baka di sya makapag check in sa PAL..dahil nga nirerequire nila ang two way..

ano kaya magandang gawin?

oo sobra sobra pa sa 600 hours,kaya nga tumawag ako sa call center nila sabi nila antay ko daw until ngayon if may tawag then if wala tawag daw ulit ako bukas..oo nga sobrang tagal and process nila.

ask ko din pla,kasi diba nanay at tatay ko yung kukunin ko,so separate sila ng trv at mga documents checklist?tapos yung mga supporting docs ay separate din sila pero the same pa din and supporting docs na ilalagay ko each of them?

Dapat after 28 days from your application sa EI makatanggap ka na. Follow-up mo lang palagi.

About sa Visa application, separate application each applicant, lahat nang documents nila separate. Pero yong invitation mo pwede lang I-isa, basta nandoon lahat nang Information nilang adlawa.

thank you so pati yung mga supporting documents kahit xerox copy na lang lahat diba?pag isahin ko ng envelope tapos enclose ko din lang sa iisang malaking envelope and application nilang dalawa ganun ba?

April 2013 - application sent
April 22, 2013 - medicals done
May 5 - additional medicals done
june 22 - requested to provide status of their application
june 26 - response received indicating they haven't received their medicals (was given 10 days to comply)
june 26 - fax information from st lukes
(june 22-father's medical sent to embassy and june 25-mother's medical sent to embassy)
Jul 3 - mother's supervisa issued
jul 13 - father's supervisa issued

Other than this web-site, who told them they must? Given that our in-laws are so much older and I'm 99.9% sure will not be victims of human-trafficking, I'll let you all know how it goes when we leave PH next year with Nanay on a SuperVisa, and with ONLY a one-way ticket . . .

sabi nya hindi naman hinanap sa immigration sa pinas ang return ticket.

so ang ginawa ko nakabili ako ng one way ticket para sa father ko online.. kaso sabi ng PAL nung nag-inquire ako, hindi nila masisigurado kung papasukan sya sa check-in.. hay.. para wala ng sakit ng ulo bumili nalang ako ng seperate return ticket nya sa pinakamurang airlines (china yung nahanap ko) at marerefund ko yung kalahati.. natatakot kasi talaga ko na baka paunsyami pa yung lipad ng father ko..

wait lang yung timeline, kuhanin ko sakanila

Aside from that link I also read that doj will ask the airlines if they issue one way tickets to those holding tourist visa to pay a fine. Even I was skeptical about it that's why I looked for a reason why travel agencies would not let us buy one way tickets. I would rather abide by the law than leave my inlaws all excited then get denied to leave the country... We are not fortunate enough to go to the Philipiines and accompany them. I am just buying 6 month ticket just incase the airline did not refund us.
