thank you so much sis Moraine... may tanung pa poh ako kung okay lang... I gathered namo sa all documnets for my Mom para ready na someday... but my mom do not have yet bank account... it is okay if i will open an account for her while we are stiill gathering some of the requirements... coz i read on the web site they need atleast 6 months ? what is the best i can do for her? and it is doesnt matter what kind of Bank.. coz in our town we only have One Network Bank. or does i need my mom gotto the bank like BDO, BPI and PNB.... ? and we are going to pay her application here in Canada.. what should i do poh.. thanks .. i really appreciate sa mga tulong ninyo poh sa akin. big help

Any bank. We paid the application here, we got postal money order from Canada post. We picked multiple entry so we paid 300 CAD for both parents. You do not have to pick multiple entry, OK? Just make sure to put "Canadian Embassy Manila"

Super Visa is a temporary resident visa special for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizen/Permanent Resident. The holder may be granted 2 years maximum stay in Canada. Some got 6 months, but it can be extended.

Any bank. We paid the application here, we got postal money order from Canada post. We picked multiple entry so we paid 300 CAD for both parents. You do not have to pick multiple entry, OK? Just make sure to put "Canadian Embassy Manila"

NT_PH, you can pick multiple entry, but I said that it is not necessary as some members' parents here just paid for single entry visa. Where are you guys paying the processing fee? Did you check the Canadian Embassy Manila website? The instruction for paying the processing is posted there. Please do check their website for temporary resident application because you guys have to print some forms and check list provided for applications being processed in Manila visa office. There are intructions from CIC to follow, plus instruction from Canadian embassy Manila as well.

Does i need to an explanation letter being a representative for My Mom? i did not print out the Statutory Declaration of Common law Union IMM 5409? it is cumpolsary to fill out?

Good job! You do not need to write a letter for being the representative. Just complete the Authorized Representative form. It should be posted somewhere along with the package in CIC website. And no you do not need to include the Statutory...Common Law Union form. Skip that part.

U know i get a little worried coz my frend says i couldnt sent money for my mom for her Bank account so that she have funds while she's travelling over here... and my mom is a full time mother since. i we have only two trycle owned by my Dad? is theirs any possibilies that my mom will not get visa even do we compy all requirement they need as a inviter. if ever my mom did not her visa what happened to the medical insurance that we purchase it is refundable ? thanks sis Moraine

NT_PH, I am not quite sure about bank, my parents' bank is Metrobank and I never have had trouble with this bank so far. If your husband's income is more than the LICO, I have no doubt that your mom will get approved. The most important thing is the host, he/she must demonstrate that the guest will be provided with EVERYTHING. Your parents have a family, house, and a small business, right? Your dad will stay in the Philippines? It will help demostrate that your mom has established close ties in her home country. I hope that your mom is healthy, no history of TB, diabetes, hepatitis, etc. because she has to passed the medical examination as well. The exam is similar to yours when you applied for PR. The medical insurance we got is refundable and we can move the effective date. You should talk to the insurance company about your concerns and ask them questions.

HopingFaith, usually about after 30 days sa medical exam request may visa na, but because ang volume ng application ngaun ay higher it will take about 2-3 more weeks ang visa ma issue. So yung sau 30 days and two weeks na di kasali ang weekends...don't worry too much, pwede ng tawagan ang embassy may specific call centre para sa Super Visa.

Would you mind sharing us the call center number for supervisa?

What my parents' did was they call the Canadian Embassy Manila through PLDT. You have to go through the call centre messages to reach the Super Visa call centre agents.

the LICO of my Husband is more 60,000 dollars plus the expenses... Yeah, we only invited my mom.. my husband is 64 years that why we need to invite or famiy since he got the money to support my family to come here... thank you so much jud.. you are big help to me... yeah i will follow your advice and suggestion... cholesterol lang taas sa akoa mama..

Yes it should be within the visa's validity. Some got 10 years, others got 5 years down to atleast 1 year.
