We took the insurance from Manulife.

Medical exam requested: July 20, 2012 (exactly 15 business days since application sent)
Medical exam done: N/A
Medical exam forwarded: N/A
Visa received: N/A

My mom took the medical exam at St. Luke.
If you have a choice of clinic, which I'm sure there is, please don't take your med exam at St. Luke.
Advise anyone you know as well.

I have a question to those who went Nationwide Health System for medical. Did your parents showed their passport for their medical? Because I think my father includes the original passport to the documents that he sent.

@naleen03:my mom did not bring her passport (she doesnt have it with her, it was submitted together with the application package right?), just the medical form/request from the embassy, and a valid ID.

@HopingFaith: wow i thought it usually takes 14 days after the medical has been forwarded to the embassy


My mom went to NHSI to repeat her xray on July 26, we're hoping to hear from them within two weeks, or else we'll follow up.. I wish my mom will get her visa before the summer ends!! and the insurance that I bought starts in september..

Don't worry, as long as the insurance haven't started yet, you can call them to adjust/move the start date.

Hi all, I'll apply for my mom's supervisa next week. Her visa office is Singapore. Her insurance policy is effective from 1st Jan '13 to 31st Dec '13. Does that mean she has to travel between that period even if she gets visa before that period? Would you guys please help me to understand this?

You are welcome! Perhaps your parents' can contact the embassy now; they will for sure respond as it has been way beyond the processing time...
