Supervisa Application In June - Timelines

oh, sorry, that was acknowledgement letter. in the correspondence letter that my parents received today, CIC has validated the biometric information they got. its like this

"Thank you for providing your biometric information (i.e. digital fingerprints and photograph) in
support of your temporary resident application to Canada. The purpose of this letter is to notify
you that your biometric information is valid until (2029/mm/dd) for subsequent
temporary resident applications to Canada."

Guys my application got a GHOST update when i logged in today
-REVIEW OF ELIGIBILITY HAS STARTED

i know most of us have applied in the same month, please check your application status for a change. Ignore if it has already started.

My application status as of today-
Online application submitted: 15th June, 2019
Biometrics Request : 16th June,2019
Biometrics Uploaded or Submitted: 19 June, 2019
Acknowledgement Letter: 11th July, 2019
Review of eligibility started - 16th July, 2019

June 21st- Biometrics done & medical submitted upfront
June 24th - Application received at New delhi visa office
June 28th- Medical & Biometrics updated
June 28th- Review of eligibility started.
June 28th- Background check started

July 8- Additional documents requested
July 16- Review of additional documents started

Hi, in my application status, it’s written “we are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.”

Does this mean review of eligibility has started or has it not? Confused.

Should I contact cic as it is close to 49 days since I submitted the application and haven’t received any medical request yet

Should I contact cic as it is close to 49 days since I submitted the application and haven’t received any medical request yet

i would say wait till July end.. your Biometrics were submitted 4rth June, so count days from there. They exclude those days. and mind it- they say -their AVERAGE processing time is 42 days. This word ' average' is too baffling,lol.
Nevertheless, wait till July end and then you can submit a webform.

because of too many visitor applications during this period!!!! Its stated in acknowledgement letter
