I also took from Punjab insurance. You can change the date once you receive the visa confirmation.
I submitted printed copies of email attachment for insurance with the receipt.
And you do NOT need to notarize any documents, just copy is all they need.
Your employer letter should be original and I submitted my NOA and pay stubs

1. Regarding your reply for (2) above. Please can you elaborate? What i understand is that i will buy insurance for my parents which will have a same start date for eg. August 1, 2014 as in the visa application i will show that my parents are coming on this date (August 1, 2014). Are you saying once the VISA is granted i can get the start date changed on insurance by contacting my agent eg. Punjab Insurance?

2. In the visa application do i have to submit a copy of insurance certificate or the original?
3. Should i also attach copy of Insurance purchase receipt?
4. My Birth certificate which i will use to show my relationship with my parents is from India, should the copy of Birth certificate be attested from Notary in India or just a copy will do?
5. My parents will also submit their Marriage certificate should that too be attested from Notary in India or just a copy will do?
6. I also arranged a job letter from my work/employer. I believe i will not have to submit the original letter but the photocopy. Please can you confirm. I will also be submit my NOA, T4, pay stubs.

1. As we are applying for both my parents - Mom and Dad at same time should i send 2 copies of each of my documents for their separate application package eg. 2 copies of T4 slips, 2 copies of NOA, 2 copies of my Birth certificate etc. one for my dad's application and one for mom's application?

2. Should we also include copies of my parents' bank account statements from India in the Super visa application?

3. Did your parents has to get their medicals done too?

Hi all please suggest if you know about this or if your parents applied for a super visa with the intention to stay in canada for less than 6 months.

Can my parents apply for a super visa with the duration to stay in Canada for less than 6 months for eg. in their application can they show that they want to be in Canada from Aug 1, 2014 to Dec 31, 2014? Can their application be rejected on the basis that they should apply for normal TRV (Visitor visa) if they want to be in canada for less than 6 months because Super visa is intent for longer stays?

I added on application for 2 months and got it approved for supervisa, so don't worry. They can put less than 6 months. All they want is medical insurance and your income / financial stability.

I think for supervise medical is mandatory...since they can stay here maximum for 2 yrs...

What did you submit for your parents' application?

2. My mom and dad also get monthly pension from MCD in new delhi, would it be worthwile to enclose proof of that in order to show ties with home country? The pension card is in hindi, from where can i get it translated? Can a notary do that?

Not trying to hijack the conversation... but a quick question I have.

How can I identify looking at the stamp on PP if super visa has been granted or regular visitor visa. As i applied for super visa but PP stamp doesn't state anything of this sort.
