Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello,
My family income is $60000 and they need $57988 for Supervisa family of 5. They said LICO not met! They refused I don’t know why? Is it because of my wife working and have T4 income $40000 at notice of assessment but my income $20000 not T4 but declared as self employed shows at notice of assessment? I don’t know what they look for NOA or T4?
Last 5 years ago my mom got Supervisa and our family situation was the same!
Please help if you can explain why they refused?
Thanks
Have you order GCMS notes?

So your NOA is exactly $40k spouse and $20k for you? Family size has not changed? No sales/commissions? As said order GCMS.

But in a post from July 17, you stated that your wife’s income is $35k and now $40k. From July:

We are family of 5 including my mom applying for Supervisa . My spouse income $35,000 and I have $20,000 plus tips and sales commission $8300 which I declared in our 2022 income tax.

So what is your income? Just trying to figure out what your income really is because $35k + $20k is $55K so below LICO.

To get it reassessed with the new income , she’d have had to file a T1 adjustment, with a new T4/Amended
If she receives the money in 2023, as back pay due to a raise , for 2022, it’ll be reflected on their 2023 T4, hence 2023 tax return

“ Income is reported on a T4 slip for the year in which it is paid, regardless of when it was earned“

Example . I’m getting salary adjustments from 2020-2022. It’ll be reflected on my 2023 T4

Thanks. I was sort of joking because no way it can be reassessed in less than a month. I think NOA is for $35k and then added documents shwoing a $5k raise which would not work with IRCC. IRCC wants the NOA at $40k. Just trying to understand from OP what documents were submitted and if they met LICO. Can’t submit NOA for 2022 and payslips for 2023 to show meeting LICO.
