I applied for visitor visa in oct 2023 for both my parents, my mom got visa in a month but my dad visa processing was not going forward. They asked me for his resume but he retired in 2017. All good, I attached it. So in June after waiting 6 months I withdrew my application and applied for super visa. Now on Nov 14 background check got completed and then application was withdrawn. It’s more than a year it took for a visitor visa to process or even withdraw the application. Now my father have a background check already done under visitor visa but they have to still do background check again. So kind of confused how their process works. I wish I get a positive result even if it takes a little longer.
