Starting this thread to discuss various Super Visa insurance experiences. At the time of this post, it seems $100,000 insurance is mandatory. Is that correct? Which insurance company did you all go through? And what has been your experience like? For my mother (age 70), I have been seeing quotes of $2400 - $3000, depending on the deductible.

I deal with Visitor visa and Super Visa insurance. About $2500 would be the minimum premium for the full year with $0 deductibles without covering any pre-existing conditions for coverage limit of $100,000. You have a monthly plan option with very few insurance companies. There are other top insurance companies which are expensive and would be starting at $3500 but their claims process are smooth.

Feel free to reach out for any info..

That is correct!! The price depends on the age. So higher the age, more expensive is the insurance. Paying upfront makes more sense as monthly options turns out to be more expensive if you sum it up to a year.

IRCC seems to be denying many of the applications not paying in advance

That is weird. Though I paid in advance too but I don't think it could not be the only reason for denial if you choose monthly option. I think soon they are also launching where they will accept international travel insurances too.

I agreed with this, l paid three months in advance for my parent and both of them got their visa approved.

That is the price we have to pay unfortunately.
Yeah what can we do. For the amount we paying in insurance, you not even getting a good healthcare in return. Have you got your visa stamped passports back?

Oh great!! May I know what was your timeline for stamping? I sent my mother's passport and went under process with IRCC on 27th. No update since then.
I guess it depends on where your visa application center is. Received PPR on October 3 sent passports by DHL on October 6 and received at visa application center October 9. Passports ready to be collected on October 30. Passports collected today with visa stamps.

I think at the moment all Visa stamping is being done at Delhi only as others are closed. But my local VAC office is Chandigarh!! I sent it on Oct 23rd and was recvd by them on 27th, waiting since then. Thanks though, just wanted to get an idea on ETA.
