Any TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) will not be given beyond the validity of the passport. So, if someone's passport is good for another 10 years, s/he may get 10 year multi-entry Visa or Super Visa.

Hello folks,

My wife is pregnant and we would like her mother to visit us for few months so that my wife gets some support from her. Ideally, we want her mother to stay for 5-6 months with us. Do you think we shall apply for visitor visa or a super visa?

I am a Canadian citizen by birth and my wife is a Permanent Resident (sponsored by me, the Spouse).
Please suggest which is a better option, a visitor visa or a super visa?

Currently my mother visiting Canada on visit visa , Should I apply super visa online while her visit in Canada and if approve she can go back and submit passport or I will wait for her to go back to home country and apply after few weeks ?
