anyone applied for a super visa at the New Delhi visa office? Could you post your timelines from passport and application submission (online or VFS) to medical request and for passport collection?

that is way past the 15 day processing timeline given on the website - did you contact VFS or the visa office for an update?

I have just applied online for my parents super visa on Sept. 06th & TODAY (Sept. 11th) I have received their Medical exams.

Hi AP,

Its DK that is waiting to hear back from the embassy. My parents applied on Sept 08 and got their medical exam request today. They are looking to submit their medicals on Tuesday. They have already done their medical exam on Monday, because they were looking to submit the medical test with the application, but there was some delay. So the file is already there, just a matter of getting the XRay done and having the file transferred to New Delhi.

Hey i applied for Supervisa for my mom.. within a week's time we got the medical request from NDVO but now its been around 2 weeks after we did the medicals but no response yet does anyone know how long they take to send back the passport with visa?

pp request 17 sep (Submitted next day)
medical request 18 sep
medical done 19 sep (x-ray did 20 sep )
online status updated (medical passed) on 23 sep
visa issued 24 sep
online status updated (visa approved and file closed ) 25 sep
pp received back today 26 sep

hi, we did online application, so we created My cic a/c, online you get update on each stage. we thought our file is in chandighar, but on visa marked issued at new delhi.

Ohh okay it makes sense to apply online so that you know whats going on.. and yeah Visitor (Super visa ) applications goes to NDVO not Chandigarh .. I don't know whats going on with my moms application hopefully they send PP asap with Visa

Sometimes it can take up to 10 days for the visa office to get the medical results after review. You may also want to check with your panel physician if they've submitted the results electronically if its e-medical. If they are not an e-medical clinic, then there is sometime with them sending the file physically to whereever they are supposed to send it to.

woohooo mom got PP back with Visa.... so happy

I think it takes around 2 weeks after medical to receive PP back and if you do upfront medical then its just a weeks time to get a visa...
