I know a friend who applied for super visas for her parents from Sri Lanka, which got processed today.

Same here, I applied for parents supervisa on May 2nd
Have past 2 visitor visa refusals,
Have biometrics and medical submitted with application, no update yet

My mom visited Canada super Visa 2018. Her visa expired and we applied again online on April 30, 2023. In the application, her biometrics are still valid until 2027 but we wanted to retake it and put YES to do it again. Otherwise, they said she only get a visa until 2027. We paid for Visa + biometric $185.
Today CIC login shows her old biometric expired in 2027 & changed status to Client Application summary.
Now what will be the next steps? Will we receive new biometric requests?
Is anyone in the same situation or please share your experience?

did you get BIL for both applicants on same day/time? what time did you apply?
Guys, I applied for my inlaws super visa application on April 19. Yesterday May 9 they got medical request. But they are currently back in our home country and are flying back to Canada on May 19. They will be getting medicals done there but should I inform IRCC now that they will be flying to Canada or later on after they arrive Canada ?
Did they mention that they want a 2nd medical? Why didn’t u send them 1st one again?
Additional medical request means additional tests for the same medical. Not an exactly new one
Yeah that's right. In the first medical report they found something in report so they told to get CT scan.

I am so happy that they passed the medical as my father had Cancer a few years ago it was challenging to pass the medical.
