Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

Hi everyone,

I would really appreciated if someone could advise me how to apply for my parents? I looked at the CIC website and it seems all needs to be done by my parents and submit the application online?? I am not too sure how then I should provide them with my paperwork, i.e: my PR status, earning etc.

For those how applied could you please help me? I am not too sure :-( all I know is to buy them insurance coverage that is it. They live in Iran and all the documents need to be sent either to Abu Dabhi or Ankara, which I prefer Dubai as it takes only 19 days. I need to know where to submit their application, then where to send all my document plus their, also do they need to go there in person before anyone contact them, or should they only post their passport and paperwork to their office?

I would really appreciate if someone respond as I want to apply for them ASAP...so missing them :-(

Yes, it is a mandatory. You will need to send it along with your application package to the office.

As far as I understand, you have not yet bought it. You may want to check and compare the prices from all private Canadian insurance companies HERE.

2. I dont have any assets in name of my parents accept FD that too joint with my sister ? please advise if that will be suffice?

3. Also i m applying for my mom and dad and as per lico our annual income should be $43942...and last year that is 2013 our both income was $46000...but in 2014 our both income is much more which is 60000$....i have already mentioned the same in invitation letter stating that my salary was increased and my wife is full timer now...so what will they consider 2013 or 2014 annual salary please advise on same?.

Hi, seems this question bothers many.. and I also cant find the answers..

1. In the Online application it just says Temporary Visa - nothing about Supervisa. Any place to specify it?
2. When you choose duration of stay do you say less then 6 month or more? We plan for less, but still want the Supervisa.

yes its same, but if u doing it online it will give u a option for super visa.....i dont know about paper one,,sorry

if u have anything else that can show their ties, any bank statement, any ITR etc. just FD i dont know whether its enough or not.

your income is good enough for super visa. NOA 2013 and employment letter is more than enough.

Hello. Some updates and new information..... I went to our Constituency Office here
in Winnipeg ( MP office ) and I brought the visa of my mother for them to verify. The visa is
PG-1 so it is supervisa and my mother can stay in Canada for 2 years. No need to extend.
She arrived in Winnipeg in March 2014 and it is her 6th month here in September.
At the port of entry, the officer did not stamp her passport. So for all of you who have
concerns like mine, I hope this little information can help........
