Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

my dad did his medicals for the supervisa on 9th november as requested and i called iom karachi to confirm that they have uploaded the results to which they replied that they uploaded the results on 13th november , now its 14th january and ecas still shows that we need your medicals , why is this so although iom confirmed uploading the results way before on november the 13th, is this normal ??? overall it has been 5 months since i applied for the supervisa of my dad??

CHC Islamabad really taking long time to process visa applications..... i applied for my mothre back in September and no response yet....seems it is quite common at CHC Islamabad

so i guess its normal then , but any idea what is the maximum in which i should expect the visa coz the money is stuck in the medical insurance policy plus all travel plans have been messed up too !!!

Hi.

just wana share my experience and timeline in getting Supervisa for parents.

My parents submitted the medical back in October 2015. (without even filling the applications)
Applications sent via VFS Lahore on 21st December.
Got PPs back with 10 yrs visa on 12th Jan.

Here is the story,
I came to Canada in July 2014 and started working full time in November 2014.
making good money even more than required LICO.
but the only problem was i did not have the NOA for 2015 but i took the chance.

Docs I submitted:

2014 NOA which was only showing 2 months (NOV & DEC).
Bank statement (since I started working, Nov 2014).
pay stubs (since I started working, Nov 2014).
Job letter. (notarized)
letter of invitation to parents.
letter to visa officer describing the purpose, family size, family income (annual salary) and that i will support and take care of my parents needs.(Notarized)
Copies of property in Canada.
Property Tax certificate.
Property evaluation certificate by MPAC.
PR card copy.
Birth Certificate.
Purchased Insurance from GMS.


Docs submitted by Parents:

a letter from Parent to visa officer describing financials, details of property they own and ties with the country.
Bank statements
copies of properties
copies of ID cards.

are u sure the maximum time for an outcome is six months coz some ppl have said 7 to 8 months too ???

Am i eligible to sponsor my parents? I have good salary to support them.

I don't think so. SuperVisa is meant for parents and grandparents only.

It depends on various things:
1. Insurance provider
2. Age of parents
3. Pre-existing conditions
4. Premium deductibles etc.
Rough estimate: $1200 - $2500 (for 1 year $100,000 coverage)

Is there any other way for my sister to visit me??

Visit Visa along with your parents. But it will be hard. I'm sorry I can't think of anything else.

Currently my mother visiting Canada on visit visa , Should I apply super visa online while her visit in Canada and if approve she can go back and submit passport or I will wait for her to go back to home country and apply after few weeks ?

doesnt matter but only apply after completing 1 year at your work .I was and still on contract.

Guys.
Question to those who have successfully applied and obtained super visa for parents in India.
1. Is it mandatory to certify parents funds and assets in India by a CA or simply property documents and bank statements should be enough?
2. Is the timeline for online application and paper application the same? If not which is faster?
3. If you apply online do you still need to courier and submit original documents like invitation letter etc?
4. After obtaining the Visa is it mandatory to buy return tickets or single way ticket should be fine?

My wife has completed her Masters and she would like to invite her parents for her Graduation .

She can get the letter from her University for the invitation to her parents.

But Can any one please tell for much duration does the Visiting Visa will be given if at all everything goes well.
