Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

Can anyone give me some idea about the sponsor income requirement.

I would like to sponsor my parents my work income is around 50k
It says income requirement for 5 family members is around 51k so I am little short.
Can my wife use her EI income from parental leave to count as income or it has to be only income from employment any idea?
I would very much appreciate this

To apply super visa it is not how much you make at the moment but how much you made during the last financial year that matters.

If your NOA for the last year is greater than 51k you can apply. If not you will be refused. Pick one for a super visa and the other for a regular visit visa (you can always get an extension with a visitor visa) this year and you might be eligible to sponsor both next year.

Got PPR too, looks like another online app which was filed a week after me also got a PPR(smileforu). So looks like my guess was correct, online apps weren't touched until today.

I do have same status but I applied on March 5th.

Do you know how many other super visa applications waiting for PPR?

Thank you for the message. Appreciate it. Yes we are aware that it is the income from last year that is going to be calculated. Having said that we r looking to apply for super visa next year as parents already do have visitor visa which expires next year. Because my spouse is not working and would have some EI income for this year it won't qualify the income requirement if EI income is not calculated.

IF NOA is used as income requirement than I guess EI income is going to be counted. Can anyone confirm if this income test is just the work income or the total income from all source. I would very much appreciate this. Thanks a lot!

Did you check online?
Is that shows Medical Pass?
If shows Medical Passed then there is high chance to Approve Visa.

Please let us know after you receive passport.
