Anyone waiting for Supervisa for parents in India? File Dated March 7, 2023
First application filed on Jan 27, 2023 and got rejected on Feb 9, 2023 due to wrong option selected for one of my parent.
Second application- .-- No update on the portal-- Medical and Biometrics were done with the first application

Biometric request - Feb 8
Biometric completed - Feb 11
Medical Request - March 1
Medicals completed - Mar 5
Medical Passed, BVL and Passport Request - Mar 27

Hello. Were you able to get an update on your application? I have applied in September 2022 and still awaiting a response. I received a request to re-send some documents which I did the same day in September and since then there has been silence. Its almost 6 months. Hoping to hear some success stories. I have applied from Pakistan.

1st, you need to ensure you send IRCC the document thye requested and they receive it so that they can process ur application. 2nd, if you sure they received it and theres still no progress, then you check average time for your country. If its much more than that average time, then you can ask MP to follow up.

Hi All,
I applied Super Visa for my parents. I just notice the Application Type showing in the main page is “Visitor Visa”, can anyone confirm if that’s how it should be? Or it should show “Super Visa” instead?
I did not pay attention to it before.

Also, here is my status:
Applied: December 26 2022
Biometric request: Dec 27
Biometric sent: Dec 30
No Medical request yet
Status: Submitted, We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.


However: The review of eligibility showed like this:

My parents did upfront medical on July 20
- Application submission date: July 20
- Biometrics request: July 21
- Biometrics done: July 26
- Medical required Sputum : July 27th for father
- Sputum done: Oct 24th
- Application declined: Nov 8th due to missing one document

Second application
- Application submission date: Nov 9th with upfront medical & Biometrics
- Medical pass: Mother Feb 11th & Father Feb 14th
- Status changed to reviewing eligibilities on Feb 14th
- APL & Passport request Mar 30th for both

Because mine showing we are progressing your application on the top of the page, but scroll down to Review of Eligibility, it says: we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility

It’s at the bottom changed to “we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility”. It shows something else before changed to this line.

Can anyone suggest if I should move my insurance dates as the application is in progress? Insurance start from April 5, 2023

Hi everyone! I am planning to apply a supervisa for my father, however my NOA does not meet the Lico requirement. I started my new job in july 2022, i earn 50k per year and my wife landed in Canada in october so she got her first job in january where she earns 47k.
If we provide our job letters and paystubs will that be enough? I see on the website that it is accepted as proof of funds but i notice everyone always submits NOA. Will it be refused because of that?

Hello. Thank you for your response! I had already sent the document to the IRCC the day they requested it in September. Also, the time bar in my application is just grey. There is no processing time mentioned at all. I also had the MP letter attached to the application. Is there a way to find out the processing time apart from the application itself?

Supervisa application took 16 months from submission to approval, and we moved the start date of the insurance a few times.

Need guidance regarding the super-visa for my parents. They have one past rejection of a visit visa last year. I need to ask if should I apply for a super-visa via the new IRCC portal or by Gckey?
Previously a consultant was hired for the whole process and now I was to apply it by myself. They have biometric done last year when they applied for the visit visa. Now should I go for upfront medical or wait to the IRCC to send medical request.
Kindly anyone from here can guide me with this?
