Need help!

Country applied from: Pakistan
My parents already travelled to Canada last year on Visit Visa for around six months and returned in January 2022!Bot of them have valid visit visa

Super Visa Details
August 1 2022 - Application Submitted
August 10 2022 - Bio metrics updated (taken from previous biometric)

No update since then! Timeline doesn't show any thing it just says 'We are processing your application ...."

What should i do ?
Processing time for super visa from Pakistan is 277 days as per the CIC Website!

There isn't much you can do. You just have to wait. Since they had a visitor visa, hopefully things will be a bit quicker.

Same here. I applied for my parents Nov 1, 2022. No updates but biometric, which was also from previous application......

I called IRCC to check but they informed me that the application is being processed at Abu Dhabi Office so I am not sure what is really going on.

I'm in the same situation.

I applied for my parents in November. There's no update after they passed the medical exam.

I have question about submitting passports through 2 way courier. My parents do not want to visit the vfs centre in Chandigarh. Our nearest location is chandigarh or jallandhar. Can they send it to Chandigarh location via courier? What are the documents requirement?
Can we choose the dates or do they provide pick up dates?

1. Refer the link to book the two way courier service: VFS : WebForm (mioot.com)

2. There is no option to choose the pick up dates. Once we submit the details and pay the fee, we get the e-mails with AWB numbers from Bluedart.

3. Documents needed:
a. Original Passport
b. PPR letter
c. VFS consent form
d. VFS Courier and SMS form

My parents have received the Passport request letter yesterday i.e 31st Jan 2023. I applied for their Supervisa on 16th August 2022

My mother's passport will expire on 25th Feb 2024. And Canada only issue visa till the passport expire date.

My question is If I apply for my Mother's new passport under Fast processing (Takes 5 business days) and submit that new passport with the passport request letter to VAC center, Will she get visa stamped for 10 year now ? or will Canadian high commission reject the application because the passport is renewed and old passport on which we applied for supervisa will then be canceled ?

Hi Everyone,

1) My mom visitor visa is still active till May 2023 (same date when the old passport will expire) Now she has new passport, I want to apply for my mom super visa, should I wait, or I can apply?

2) My mom recently got a new passport and all the old visa, exit/enter stamps are on her old passport. Should I attach the scan copy of both passport including stamps or just new passport copy

1. No need to wait for the expiry of the Visitor Visa. It is all upto you when to apply for super visa.

2. Attach the passport copy of New Passport in the Passport section. You can attach her old passport copy in the invite letter saying that she alrady has the Visitor Visa.

Not an expert advice but my two cents are here.

In the FAQs for other visas related to renewal of passport, they mentioned that "It depends on where the application is. If the application is in processing, you can attach a scan copy in the webform requesting the updation of Passport details." This means there is provision only for the applications in process but not for approved ones.

As your application is already approved, it is always better to submit the passport that is specified in the application because stamping is clerical job and they might not have authority to update the Passport number in the system. In that case, you end up in rejection of stamping.

You can still wait for other advises that may come.
