i am planning to apply supervisa for my mom.
Looks like proof of insurance and document check list are mandatory document that needs to be provided.

but i dont the option to upload these 2 docs in the online application.
Where should i upload these docs

Proof of medical insurance: You will have a link to upload this in the online application. If you are applying for both your parents, then combine insurance docs for both of them and upload them as a single file.

I just talked to my parent and they asked a question. Given the long processing time of supervisa, does it worth applying it or would it be better to apply for a visitor visa? Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks so much

Raised a webform on August 22nd for covid 19 exemption - stating family reunification as the reason
Received mail response on Sept 10th
Received re submission of biometrics request Oct 3rd
Re submitted biometrics - Nov 16th
Biometrics updated on the profile - Nov 17th
Medical request received - Nov 24th
Medicals completed - Nov 29th
Medicals passed - Dec 3rd
BVL and passport request - Dec 19th

Yes, the application is from India technically - although I assisted with the application online from Canada.

Hi Abiancha, first of all congrats! Looking at the timeline i suppose you used GCC portal is that correct? Or did you use hte latest iRCC portal for filing the application?

Hi There are two options in the IRCC protal page which is confusing. The first one is : To unite with an immediate family member who is a Citizen or PR The second is: To join children and grandchildren (supervisa). What is the difference between these two options?

We haven't received medical request yet.
Any guesses, when can we finally get the decision?
Processing time on the website shows 50 days

You should expect it soon. I applied on Nov 17 and got medical request on Nov 29 (Biometric was done for old application).

I re-applied for parents supervisa on Nov 4. No medical request yet. Biometrics were done in old application and updated in new application on nov 5. We should have received medical request long time ago. Nothing yet. File already exceeded 52 days processing time. Nothing with Sep 2020 application and no update on newer application either. Very very frustrating now.

Yes, I believe so. Many people re-applying. I heard they withdraw one of your applications at some point.

I see. I don't know. My impression is that you should only have one active application. Keeping more than one active profile only increases processing time, I think.

I have applied for my mother's super visa in May 2021. No response yet. I raised inquiry through webform and received a generic reply. Is this normal ? Will the application move? Thank you
