Congrats! My second application was in Oct2021 and third in Feb2022.

One question. When did your parents do medical and when it got passed? I have an case that worries. My parents did medical in Sep2021, my fathers was passed in Oct2021 and till date mothers medical does not show and they sent an request on 18Feb2022.

So trying to understand. Thanks.

Hi, Did you do anything after receiving the email? I got the same one, wondering if I should do anything. Did you get your passport stamped without anything. Please let me know.

hey guys hope someone can help me with my moms super visa situation, i applied super visa for my mon last year 11th march 2021 through online gckey portal. back story my mom had supper visa before and visited my 2019 before pandemic, end of 2019 her passport expired so her visa expired too. so i applied to get new super visa for my mom last year and its been about a year but haven't got any result or haven't hard from them, it just shows still processing. i tried to do contract with them filling out web form and got an email back saying still processing and they will get in touch, and at the same time i get to know that there is new portal have been launched and people are reapplying who ever applied before 7th September 2021, so i am really confused whether to apply again or keep waiting, please someone help me with this situation. and for better understanding i am attaching the response i received from IRCC.



Please be advised that due to the impacts of COVID-19, IRCC offices are experiencing processing delays as such our office is not able to provide you a definitive time frame for finalisation. Your application is now pending for review. We will be in touch with you directly via your online account should we need any additional information from you or to advise you of the next step.

I personally think you should re-apply on the new portal and leave the old application as is.

You should re-apply, since there is prior visa it might be approved soon. My parents too first application 25Mar2021 , no luck. But 2nd application is in progress with eligibility review ongoing. Long wait , dont know when it will finish

Please I want to apply for my mum's super visa. Is it advisable to do medicals upfront or shoul I wait for the request?

I would not recommend considering current backlog of medicals they have. Waiting since Sep2021, upfront medicals no response yet. Currently its better to apply and wait for their request

I have received a notification that my parents' passports have been dispatched to the IRCC office via VFS global. My question is: how will I know when they have been stamped and dispatched back to my parents after stamping from IRCC office? Will they receive a new tracking number or notification of any kind?

I have the same kind of question they dispatch my passport on march 1 and we haven’t got it yet.

Hello, I have a question - I applied for supervisa (gckey) for mom in sept 2021 and biometrics were done in oct 2021, no medicals upfront and no request yet....strange thing is that the update shows that we are reviewing your medicals.....how come its this update when medicals are not done yet? can anyone shed any light/advise??

Weird, whose they need to process that they aren't processing... Could be some error... From when you see that medical status.. If quite long then raise a webform or wait for some days and see what happens..

I received mail regarding Biometric Validity on 06 March 2022 and I have submitted my second application in Nov 2021.

BVL is a precursor of PPR, so most likely you will get PPR this week.
