Hi Guys, I applied for my father's supervisa on 2nd Dec 2021 through GC key login. The medical exam status was changed to pass on Jan 17th. Waiting for passport request, However no response till now. Have sent a couple of webforms asking for status but got back prepopulated responses.
How long should I wait before I re-apply through the new IRCC portal? Does the new IRCC portal help expedite as his both his biometrics and medicals have been completed in this application?
Application location : Bangalore, India

India has heavy backlog. when did your fathers eligibility review started?

Finally, got PP back for parents super visa

1st Application – April 2021 (Gckey)
Biometrics – July 2021
Medical – Sep-Oct 2021 (follow-up medical to check TB in detail)

After that nothing..........for months...

Contact local MP – Jan 10th, 2022
2nd Application – Jan 20, 2022 (new portal)
Asked for Letter of support to local MP and uploaded via web form on Feb 1st
PPR request and medical pass on Feb 6
PP submit – Feb 8
received at Delhi – Feb 15
dispatched from Delhi – Feb 22
received back – Feb 25

If you are waiting for long, I will suggest reapply or contact local MP so see if they can help.

My parents n laws medical passed January 24 and they told us to send updated notice of assessment after that we are waiting now

Hi, Did you ask MP to write a support letter for you? Or you provided some letter?

They mentioned, I was unaware of it.

My parents n laws medical passed January 24 and they told us to send updated notice of assessment after that we are waiting now

I saw lots of people got PPR on same day when medical is done or even Bio is done - depend on documents, number of application (now a days 2nd 3rd is getting approved) and so on...

Did they ask for resubmit even when you submitted with application or you missed in first place ? Bcos they might be asking for 2021 NOA, which is too early to ask.

I feel like its bcoz of 3rd application which was like a reminder to them. Good luck to all

Congrats! My second application was in Oct2021 and third in Feb2022.

One question. When did your parents do medical and when it got passed? I have an case that worries. My parents did medical in Sep2021, my fathers was passed in Oct2021 and till date mothers medical does not show and they sent an request on 18Feb2022.

So trying to understand. Thanks.

Has anyone received Super Visa without submitting property documents of parents? I can show up to 30K CAD in my mom's bank account but for property, the house is on my dad's name and he passed away recently. Transferring it to her name is gonna take time. So, I don't think I can show that as proof, right? Please advise.

Supervisa you don't need family assets or financial status. Its the invitors 1 year Notice of assessment and recent pay stubs and meet the LICO..

Are you sure? Do you know anyone in similar situation who got the super visa?

Reading through past comments on this forum, it appears that the property documents or assets are mandatory to demonstrate strong home ties. What I am not sure is if bank assets alone are sufficient or not.

Sharing my Parents Supervisa timeline

GC Key:

Applied on: Jan 20th,2021
Biometric Request: Jan 21st,2021
Mom Biometric Completed: July 21st,2021 - ( My Dad passed away in April'21)

Raised multiple webforms informing CIC about the death of my dad, no response from them.

Dec 24th,2021- Visa refusal letter for my Dad.
Dec 27th,2021- Medical request for my Mom.
Jan 18th,2022- Medical passed for my Mom.

No updates from CIC after medicals.

After waiting for one month I decided to re-apply through new portal

IRCC Portal:

Applied on: Feb 14th,2022
Medical passed : Feb 21st, 2022
PPR request: Feb 24th, 2022

I would appreciate if any one can share their experience about sending passport to VFS-Bangalore .

During Biometric my Mom had opted for premium service, which included one way courier charges. I have filled up webform to send the passport to VFS and also paid courier charges (Rs-1000 approx), but didn't receive any acknowledgement from VFS or the courier company.
