Suggestions on travelling with spouse who has PR

Hey Folks,

Need some advise here, my wife got the PR through EE Skilled labour cat. She'll need to do her landing for the formalities. I wanted to know if I can travel with her just to ensure she has a company until she reaches and help her setup home there and get back.

Will there be any questions / will I be able to get a visitor visa to go along with her?

If your passport requires a visa to go to Canada, yes, you'll need a visitor visa.

As you are married to someone who will have PR status, it may be hard to get a visa if your country requires one to travel to Canada, unfortunately.

As said above, there's a relatively high chance the TRV will be refused. However you should certainly try.

If the TRV is approved, then you can do as planned. If it's refused, your wife will have to travel alone.
