Since the person [likely] now has a Deportation Order to deal with, I think it's more than a simple Lack of Status issue.

Yea, I guess it depends why he's under the order.

 persons under removal orders or facing enforcement proceedings for reasons other than the
above-noted lack of status reasons.

Like I know: When you apply for refugee u most signed some paper/order and if you refugee case will be rejected - you have to leave Canada or that paper/order became deportation order and than warrant search order (if person still not leave and hide).- Like he has.

But unfortunately my friend wouldn't understand how serious situation he has... he just told me : "My lawyer said , don't worry, I have to wait, may be even year " .... He also told me that his lawyer took more than $8k for his spouse application! Crazy! I am sorry for him , but I don't know what I can do if he wouldn't
understand
